I'm not big on pushing politics but if it involves skateboarding and future for my kids I do.
Now's our chance to get rid of the skater hater if you live in Capitola. Please vote. I was asked to help get the skater vote. Thanks folks.
If you vote and live in Capitola vote for Mike Termini and Dennis Norton for Capitola City Council. They believe in the future of Capitola. Both want a skateboard park and to bring back the Capitola Classic event. Both are backed by the Sierra Club and want to plan for the future of Tola. Unlike the current major who is a skater hater, Tiki hater and pro development.

Added contrast to the wave, something we'd wanted to do from the beginning since the concrete was so gray after we sandblasted the surface. Time to ride.

Sessions posted a quick edit of what went down this weekend 9/27-9/28.
At 1:36 where Duane Peters is skating and gets big cheers-- one of his wheels came off and DP still hit two more walls skating on three wheels!

We had great weather in Santa Cruz with very subtle winds. The police came by three times and were very nice. The third one we had to go so we only got results in one direction on the 50.

The 10th annual Tim Brauch Memorial Contest will be held September 27th and 28th, 2008. The street contest on Septemer 27, 2008 will be at the Scotts Valley skatepark built in memory of Tim Brauch. The bowl contest hosted by the World Cup of Skateboarding will take place at the new Lake Cunningham Regional Skate park in San Jose, CA. This skate park is the largest in California at 68,000 square feet.
