hey frank, I believe scott from Curve Skateboards is taking special orders for the 42, but you might want to double check with him. I'd try emailing him.

I love my Bomb hills, its a fun all around board...its set up with seismics and shaved avillas and oust moc 9 bearings....It bombs well on the nose, yet if you step back it carves and pumps well... I have ridden 1 loaded board and wasnt at all impressed..kind noodely and wimpy feeling...

jomo, I am riding the S9 bomb hills pintail right now as my all around cruiser/hill bomber and its OK. Nothing special. I dropped my R2s through the deck and that made it more fun, but its very heavy and I guess I'm a little dissapointed. My next deck will be a loaded deck. I borrowed one from my friend and kept it for a whole semester. Very responsive, light and an awesome, fun ride. Does anybody else like loaded decks?

The Lil' Thug is made for kids or girls. It is thinner and has much more flex than the DaThug- with your weight (which is roughly mine, too), the board is way too flexy...

I just got a Da Thug Haida. I'm 220 and it's perfect, not too flexy not too stiff. I want a L'il Thug also but maybe too flexy or maybe the fact that it's shorter will compensate? Can anyone answer this from first hand experience? Thanks!

What happens when you run out of your 70's rocker supply, Al? Do you have another supplier, or will your Wickeds be worth just that much more in 20-30 years?
OT: Palm pucks? Wifey and I will be in Chi on Labor Day weekend, Sun & Mon. Not sure if N.Side is in our plans, but it would be great to skate if the weather cooperates.

wicked was what came to mind when this shape appeared in front of me. wicked was what a few people said when looking at my work even before finding out what it was called. several didn't like the fact but wicked is what it was...
after some deliberation i decided a long time ago against giving my company this name and opted instead to work towards bringing more than just the deck through the development cycle. i hold no trademark to the name and have no qualms w/anybody using it as their moniker. i do take offense to another who claims that he had anything to do with my work but that's whole other matter altogether.
wicked's not just another word...
it hold a lot of meaning.
the question is: can they live up to it?
...or is there something they're just not seeing?

I bet it'll be a great pumping board.
you could take a run at the "trap" record on one of those, couldn't you?
Have you guys checked out the "trap" thread on the pumping forum?

from urban to swift

I got my new urban assault the other day and finally got to ride it down today. ITs great with the downhills and 78a flashbacks. ITs a fun carver, but not at higher speeds. ITs going to be a great campus cruiser and commuter, which is what its purpose seems to be generally.
The drop deck method is great. I want a wider, longer board for some downhill carving and am considering the Swift 40. I think the ua and swift is a good combination for cruising/commuting to downhill carving! 78a gumballs and Randal 180's are goin on the swift. Hats off to the Biltin bearings, they are awesome.

This wicked is not Psycholoyd's is a company out of Washington State. In fact the "reviewer" is not a user he is either the owner or his son.
It's a shame when the owner needs to come on an shamelessly shill his boards and pretend that it is a user who loves the boards.
I know Psycholoyd and hope that the above Wicked is not infringing on anything of Alan's

The guys at Wicked Skateboards just released some new decks. They have a 46.5" bomber and another 46" deck with cutouts. They are not on their site, but I saw them in a shop and they rode like a dream. The decks were tight and the bomber rides like a dream. I strictly ride the 58" Winged Wonder pintail. With the stock Titanium Nitride Abec 7's, Randal 180mm trucks combined with Wicked's Hubbed Wheels, it can't be beat for a stock big board. The flex was great and I am 200 lbs. These guys are really coming on strong. I heard Madrid is now distributing their line according to a longboarding magazine that I read at Barnes and Noble. Keep ridin!!

Curve Swift 38" setup

Guys. I got a Curve Swift 38 and I love it. My current favorite setup is Indy 101 trucks with yellow Powell hard-core bushings, Turner/3DM Cambrias 86A front 82A rear. I've got a tracker wedge pad in front to make it turny. Set the thing up like a slalom board and it comes alive!
It pumps really well but still has nice downhill stability.
I think the Turner/3DM Avalons would be perfect for it, but haven't bought them yet.

Thanks for everyone for their suggestions. I found a store that's only within 2 hour's drive, and am going to demo a few boards this weekend. I am leaning towards a Vanguard, back again, after riding a few wooden boards that I borrowed from other friends. Thanks again for your thoughts!

I've got four Deathbox Inouye models. One of my other all time favorite boards for ramp riding. I liked the old model so much I have two spares as well as the new rising sun "flare" model. Indy's/bones bushings/deathbox box burners. Awesome board. You like!!

Has anyone been riding one of these cool-looking decks? I've got one on the way, but I've never ridden one, or actually seen one in real life.
