Scabs: speaking of cold, it was 32 degrees YESTERDAY morning. No kidding. Today it will be a balmy 72, we actually let the kids wear shorts to school.
RE: The Poll:
New King? I don't get it. I like the non-leadership we have.
Vegetable? Gotta go with hemp.
Reunion? Aren't we having one now?
Boston July 4th, that's my next big day. Hope to see you all there. Have a BLAST at Folly Beach.

Speaking of seconds...pass the shrooms. Any loose morels afloat? A Kingdom huh? Sounds about right. Only problem I foresee is too many Jesters and too many partied up nights, er Knights.
And my vote is "Huh?" Also a salute to ((ouch!!)) all of youse... Brady "Scabs" Mitchell KHRT since DOH 1

It may be time to call another online Knucklehead meeting in order to breath new life to this tired forum.
Topics for discussion are: …well that is the topic of discussion. So if you have any suggestions, it will be taken into consideration and probably be ignored. Next, we will talk about the membership, additions and removals, welcomes (goodbyes) etcetera ad infinitum. How about voting in a new king…. hmmmmmmm, that didn’t sound right. Maybe we should consider what our team vegetable should be (ramps for instance?) though I’m partial to mushrooms myself. How about the possibility of a Knucklehead reunion? Not that we’ve ever gotten together in the first place. Well, that’s all I have that’s open for discussion and even that is open to consideration (and then promptly ignored)…
All those present make sure you're accounted for!!!(ouch)

Carl, Hearing a snowbird like yourself say "might be too cold" causes me to pucker up tighter than a frogs ass lest a chill crawl inside. Man, our lows are already in the 70`s with highs to the mid 90`s. I appreciate the rain you river belters sent our way but a slight cool down would go nicely about now. Hows about it?

i'll be in VT cleaning out the ski-house that weekend! grrrr... any running of the cones this weekend in the nyc area? i missed the gathering due to a sudden freelance gig and tattoo appointment. after getting to try pumping my new (to me) slalom rig for the first time in the jiffy-lube parking lot while my truck was getting lubed this weekend - i really want to try it with cones.

Kibosher, Go to the Grass Roots Slalm link above and then to the NYC chapter. You should be able to hook up with fellow skaters there. Most slalomers also have longboards. That`s how we all found this site. Brady South Florida GRS

NEW YORK CITY LONGBOARDERS!
I've been reading these forums for over a year and I see hints and whispers of an NYC longboarding association. I have tried repeatedly to contact poster's that have either made mention of the New York Longboarders Association or have even claimed to head it up. The majority of these posts have been from 1998-99 so I am wondering if the group is defunct? If anyone can help me with this I'd be very greatful.
In the event that the group is disbanded I am considering heading up a new NYC based organization called GOTHAM LONGBOARDERS or GLB for short. I would love to see the Central Park Loop Race rise again, or if it's happening still and I dont know about it, have GLB compete in it. If anyone is interested please email me at mwcondor@yahoo.com
I know you're out there NYC, help me out. Mike
