Shaun, oh yes, those are the ones. I couldn't persuade Peter to part with one and there don't seem to be any more out there. Not sure about the flying butt monkeys but I guess $800 wouldn't be far off the mark for and NOS pair of these gems. Had to compromise on the Sims stickers but I should pick them up early next week. Will email photos. laurie

I think I talked to Vintage Man about this last year and he didn't have any then. Maybe the two that I know of are all that is left? I had heard they were supplied as the front truck on complete Quicksilver boards ordered direct from Powell at the time.

It's been about a year since I last posted this so I may be wort another go. I would love to find a single early Gullwing split axle truck like the one pictured on the Quicksilver deck in the Powell ad. Not sure if they prototypes or early production version. I you have one for sale or know someone who might please get in touch. The same goes for the very early Kryptonics. Not sure what colors these were or even if they were marked as Kryptonics. Anyone know anymore?
Thanks laurie

Beautiful pictures. As I have posted and I think emailed you once. 2 of those decks are now hung via rafters in my garage. Posted earlier in this thread. They also are 35 miles from Santa Cruz, California. Their original home of origin!! Cheers and thanks for that wonderful treasure find and dispursing of such!!

oldschoolskater, I heard you moved to Hawaii, drop me a line. Did you hear that Beach Bum Al died?, I stopped by his shop one day and everything was gone, Barry told me he had cancer and by the time they found out, he went into the hospital and died a few days later.

I have a k2 evolution 4 up for sale. Amazing carving board. Missing the metal pole and I have replacement wheels on it. The deck and trucks are in great condition. One of the best carvering boards and truck made. Made in Austria for K2 and only available in the US for a couple of years.

The last nos Jay Adams multi colored deck I let go, I sold for $2500.00 I thought that was high but at the time but, I had 5 of them. We have done business over the years code name (aloha-brah)/(vwsurfn)!

This puppy might be from that same Sweden find of about 12-20 vintage SC decks. Not sure. I put on Hang Ten Trucks and Hang Ten Wheels. Thought a pretty cool color combo. Then had to re-arrange the insane hanging collection to make room for it! Took longer to do that than to put deck together!! Up the ladder, down the ladder, up the ladder, down the ladder...LOL!! Enjoy David

I would like to buy a multicoloured Z flex team deck, either Jay Adams model or a standard 27" rocker, I recently saw pics of Marty Grimes riding one and it looked fantastic, had only seen JA version previously. Good used example preferred but will pay around $4k for the right NOS deck. If you have one you would be willing to sell or can put me in touch with someone that does I would be very grateful. Thanks laurie UK
