Any plans to require registration in order to post? I'd be more willing to advertise if you'd implement some form of registration.

For sale 30$ a set that includes shipping and handling. I have 2 sets of Shogo single chonicle and one set of the Double chonicle Duro is probably about mid 80s. They are new. I prefer the softer duros. The board is not for sale.

custom stuff
On 12/26/2007 donald20 wrote in from Germany  (88.76.nnn.nnn)

basically i can anything people want to have and a ton more.
there are several basic moulds existent, flat tails concave tails, flex zones(that's new),spoon concaves and and and.
sam's board is a spoon concave board by the way.
the shape is also excellent and absolutely fitting for the mould being used during the process.
the only thing i ask people is to listen to advice given to them when their kind of shape turns out to be s#@!ty,to say so,in order to make the thing they want work out appropriately.
i can make all the bling bling the world has to offer but the shape and mould is what counts and only this reflects in the customers satisfation later on.
so,if anybody has a special wish, let me know exactly what you want and then the talks begin.
again, thank you for your interest in the stuff i do.

Pavels latest
On 12/26/2007 Octane wrote in from United Kingdom  (87.114.nnn.nnn)

Donald at Pavel will make any deck dimensions and customise concave as well....whatever you require.

Sams deck isnt far off a Civ. It was made with a 'nod' to an old Sablosky Benjyboard deck, a 70's British brand, with a bit of slalom feel in there too.

Think of it as a Mulliner Park Ward body draped over a Roll Royce Chassis, or a Zagoto over an Aston. Bespoke.

I want to thank everybody who supported Radikal Trucks this year. Michelle and I want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I have a few special items for sale. I have one splash anodized Dragon's Claw for $160 plus shipping. I talked Mike into cutting some rear hangers down and he trimmed a 1/2" off of both types. I have a small number of both Dragon's Tails and Wings that have been cut down. Of course I have plenty of claws, wings and tails for sale.

I can be reached at Keith@KeithHollien.com or 352-494-2503 and toll free in the US at 1-877-RAD-SK8R(1-877-723-7587). www.RadikalTrucks.com is still not working, but you can order regular stock items on www.AAHTS.com.

Santas Sack

Judging by the number of these bags that have left the shelves this week I reckon Santa has upgraded his normal hessian sack to these:

The best back pack out there...holds two completes and is extendable! 1)Adjustable shoulder strap that also doubles up as waist band when used as back pack. 2)Zipped outer pocket.27cm x 20cm. 3)Mesh pocket for can, and also hold 1.5 litre water bottles in conjunction with the adjustable tightening strap. 4)Two adjustable tightenning straps. 5) backpack straps, with waist band. 6) Document pocket 27cm x 20cm. 7) Extendable section. Lengthens bag from 34" (38 if packed carefully) to 45". Accomodates longer boards and safetly gear for extended trips. 8) Inside pocket, 30cm x 25cm. Ideal for T shirts. 9) Tool holder 10) Inside pocket, 28cm x 20cm 11) Key clip PLUS!!! inside the pocket there is a mobile phone sized pocket, and TWO adjusting straps inside the bag. Made form VERY tough fabric in a non sweatshop factory in Bali. AND the side carrying handle flips over when the bag is extended to change the balnce point, for easier handling. Amazing.

Gecko
On 12/7/2007 SamG wrote in from United Kingdom  (83.217.nnn.nnn)

Great shape Martin! Plenty of foot acre-age and astonishingly lightweight. And a diamond tail.

Perhaps you can persuade Gecko to do the ultimate carbon surfboard as a skate accessory?

Girls in the office reckon that your deck is a saucy product disguised as a stealth lipstick.

Weird that they keep asking when the cylindrical version is coming out.
Is that what the little surprise will be?

Top design!

Oh, I forgot...
On 12/7/2007 Gecko Press Office wrote in from (78.86.nnn.nnn)

Oh, one thing I forgot when talking about the features...Gecko put nylon inserts/plugs in their boards that they drill through for the mounting holes. This means no water ingress but also the ability to tighten your trucks down WITHOUT worrying about pulling through the deck - pretty cool!

No, the poster is extra...

Gecko Superlight MD Limited Edition SL model - photos
On 12/6/2007 Martin wrote in from (78.86.nnn.nnn)

The proto rode so well, it felt like 'home' from the first moment I rode it...Well, its my signature model design, so I guess it should!!!

Unbelievably light at 550 grams (the previous one I've been riding is 650), it makes the old Gecko feel heavy when you compare them. I have developed the shape via my Turner Eurofighter design and various customs built by Roe, with inspiration from Richy Carrasco and Paul Price mostly. I am super happy with the shape now with plenty of room for my back foot.

It had awesome acceleration and the torsional stiffness AND the superlight weight make it VERY RESPONSIVE. This is a feature of the nose shape too, resulting in a deck that is lively without feeling tippy when mounted with a normal slalom-width truck. It is perfect for anyone up to about 240lbs. This is the "Limited Edition" version, there will be a slightly heavier (still under 600g) "Standard" model even more beefed-up for our heavier brethren ;)
Gecko were considering putting out an even lighter model with a new revolutionary core, but there seems to be little point at the moment because it would push the price up and not be a massive amount lighter....but they will one day! Pricewise it will be the same or just a fraction more than the rest of the foam cores out there, but we feel that it is worth it. This construction has been tested for the last 18 months, refined, and this is the final version.

There will be a limited production run hopefully with boards available for sale late January. We already have a very cool, yet discreet graphic for the deck too incorporating the signature sticker on the deck now.
I'm happy, its the best board I have EVER ridden...

Dimensions: 30" long, 8.75" at the widest part, 7.75" at the waist and a nice fat 8" at the tail. The board is drilled at 18 & 19" wheelbases.

It weighs in at 550 grams.

Here it is mounted before riding at London's Hyde Park. GOG's and Seismic Wheels complete the set-up.The base will not be as you see it, the production version will be glossier (not quite the mirror finish of the top), more like the old Geckos, plus we are working on a little surprise too, to further set the board apart.

Is it a sign?

Top sheet shot...

Contact Jeff at Gecko, info@geckodecks.com if you are interested, he has already started a list of buyers! If you have any doubts about this board, just wait til you get one in your hands...and under your feet!

New Gecko Slalom deck.
On 12/4/2007 Gecko Press Office wrote in from United Kingdom  (82.12.nnn.nnn)

Well, our previous model weighed in at a chubby 650 grams (32.5" long). We just weighed the new deck...550 grams. This is NOT the 'new' construction, just our normal superlight cooking mix! Weather permitting it gets some cone action tomorrow.
Dimensions: 30" long, 8.75" at the widest part, 7.75" at the waist and a nice fat 8" at the tail. The board is drilled at 18 & 19" wheelbases to cope with the nastiest tight courses on both sides of the Atlantic.
Currently this stealth-looking carbon fibre beauty is shod with black GOG's and looks pretty tasty.
Photos will be posted in the next few days...

Love and kisses,

House of Gecko.
