I think there used to be a site with a forum called "Vendor's Corner", with the product listed on the left and info to the right. Loved it! I'm not sure where it went(extremely long sigh).

You know, this forum is better than ever now. I really love all the bitching. Very entertaining.
BTW, I was wondering if any vendors are coming out with anything new for this season. Does anyone know of a web site that can help me?

I'd like to see some constructive opinions regarding your new Vendor rules too...let's get the vibe back here again...also, SkaterBuilt supports and donates to the National Scoleosis Foundation-as one of our youngest riders Patrick Topp from Huntington Beach has one of the worst cases of Scoloeosis in Southern California...I encourage everyone to make contributions to something that would benefit those that are not as fortunate as we are...my company has been a blessing to myself and family for over 6 years...and SB is here to stay. As I've stated in previous posts-if Adam would have sent me his advertising rates-I'd advertise no probs for sure...but, pulling my (and others) posts and painting us out to be freeloaders is were our fun and good vibe stopped. The ball is in your court Adam.

I encourage others to contribute to the The Ian Tilmann Foundation as well. Even a modest contribution of $10 or $20 could put a helmet on a kid's head who otherwise wouldn't be wearing one.

There will be a large selection of stuff at Wasteland, decks, wheels, slalom trucks and bits and bobs and bags.
Quite a few bargains as I'd like to pass on a few shop soiled decks which will be perfect for racing.
If you dont win the raffle (ALL proceeds to UKSSA) for the Pavel Deck and wheels I'm sure we can satisy everyones need for speed related goodies.

is it possible for vendors who dont sponsor the site to do a "pay per post"?
Something that would require a small contribution...$5-$10 or whatever,
for a post with their product and a nice sized glossy photo?... in the business world, that's nothing as far as advertising costs go and it would reach their customer base ....and it would start threads about new products back up again
just a thought

Donald, I'm consulting existing advertisers and considering options. I agree that the new policy is lacking so rest assured that I have not forgotten this issue.
I encourage members here to make specific suggestions instead of simply panning the new policy or the site in general. In so doing they should keep in mind the expectations of paying banner advertisers who help to support this site's modest, but nonetheless real, operating expenses (recent expenses: New firewall $200, PO box rental $236, Donation $100).

these retail skate board posters are the same "nobody gets anything unlees you pay" mine mine mine all mine! they had and still have the same agenda.all the cute little sayings and catch phrases used to manipulate their profits not promote skateboard harmony.hopefully they finally finished with skatesand move on to the next low overhead market.

The Vendor's Corner used to be one reason I still came back to this site despite the hopelessly funky and dysfunctional user interface. Now that the vendor information has been expunged this site is less than useless.
Kinda' sad really. Ten years ago this site was the place to be. Now it is pathetic due to the nickel and dime mentality of the owner.

Haha: Yeah but they have a good point. This used to be a section of NCDSA.com packed with info and pics of nu_skatepr0n. Now? Well, it's just tumbleweed, as far as I can see. Another empty lot. That's not a good development, imo. Pw

I agree with herb, kludy, and everyone else I hear from about this...WHAT'S THE BIG FRICKIN' DEAL?
Someone should put together a U.S. and Intl. Contest Calendar webpage-and then no one will have come here at all-or maybe that other slalom site-or even that other other site may do it too...oh no...

ah yes mr kludy, fellow elder,i've seen your post for a few days now and i thought just like you, what's the big deal if they delete my post i'll just put it up everyday when this screen comes up when i click on internet explorer, but apparrently it must be more severe than that. If you were to repeatedly put up a post that adam felt did not belong i think your computer (ip?)would be blocked ,you could then go from one friends computer to the next and quickly get them blocked and if you had access to a row of computers at a library ,old me doesn't know if each public access computer at the library has a different ip number.Which brings me around to one of my favorite theorys, it's been a few days since your post came up and i'm very surprized this sort of thread hasn't started,no one is answering, does that mean one is looking, there is far less traffic on this site than they used to indicate on each page, they don't do that anymore, you know "your ad would be seen 243,372(or some other equally incredulous number) times a day if it were here" at the top of each page. I don't really believe those numbers were just out and out made up,they have some basis in the internet reality, but based on things like your your post sitting there for a week unresponded to,i think that not that many people are really looking,so therefore, posting a free ad here is really not that big a deal pety theft or grand larceny, or stealing leaves off my front lawn.
