The WFSA F Forum is under reconstruction and will be up again soon.
FSK8 will be returning to SLO later in the summer with a slightly new contest format based on a Game of Skate tournement. The FSK8 'Skate like Hell' series contests will also include high jump, flatland jam, and 360's.

The WFSA F Forum status is a mystery at the moment. Lillis and I have attempted to contact Denis. He is out of the country and in Norway I think. The forum WILL return soon.

Mollica is "Nature Boy" Don't you ever read the " Gong Show " forum ? He is well known for riding in the buff during contests. Chippendales may have an opening act for you in Vegas with your pogo-ing. skate on. rm.

Where the hell was Maro on Sunday? Vegas high rollers vs. Maro "casper classic defending champion" Showdown in Slo Town. Next time. Ravitch, why didnt you go? You could have amazed the crowd with your ball grab 360 spins. Sounds like Gary H. needed a fork lift to haul away all the heavy metal home. Erik T spotted doing the "Flamenco" Jack "Im rolling toward the high jump bar @ mach 2" Smith still has a few more jumps left in him, something about an MG @ the next contest? Daniel T seen striping while pogo-ing, did he learn that trick from Mollica? Orange J. performed the " Beer barrel roll "
Great job Bob! RM.

ahhhhh that was fun today! Thanks Bob Staton for a great event.
Daniel T. you rip!
Jack Smith I thought you had me in the high Jump. Thanks for the tour of Video Action Sports.
The surface was good...a little slippery for 50-50 stuff but once you got used to it, it worked. We all had to throttle back a bit on some tricks. For example fingerflip 180's were Finger Flip 270's as the tail would slide out much faster resulting in the board spinning further around.
Erik TACO and Orange Julius you guys rocked! Julius pulls off the ollie late grab varial sweeper in the Game of SKATE!
I want to thank my sponsors Skatekings(thanks Maria and Richy), Etnies Shoes, PleasureTool Bearing, Prodesigned Safety Equipment. Without you I wouldn't have been crowned the King of the West Coast. (1st Freestyle, 1st 360's, 1st place High Jump, 1st place Game of SK8)
Thanks Gary H.

Wish you guys much success with tomorrow's event! We're swamped with Euro planning so can't be there but looking forward to hearing all about it.
Go Gary - Go Gary - Go Gary! Taco, OJ, Maro and The Trujillo Trio (I think) -- show em how it's done. Should be some great skating to behold.
Cheers!

Hi,
The SLO contest is going to be great!
Local support and promotion is going VERY well.
We may have as many as 100 skaters entered in the various comps that day.
An Open 360's comp has been added.
Contest Tee Shirts are available at $10. each.
I hope to see a lot of you at the contest this Sunday , May 16th.
Thanx, Bob

was that OJ practicing for SLO at Mitchell Park last night? Was he riding a new deck? Did it have a custom paint job? I guess we will have to wait for SLO to find out.

Good news update on the SLO contest.
Rootamental Stateboard Wearhouse of San Luis Obispo is contributing a sound system and a young energic and experienced Announcer/MC and a judge. They also have a hugh central coast skater data base with lots of groms and a forum, so they are sure to up the number of entrants.
There are a few street skaters now interested in the flatland freestyle event so that will probably fill up the freestyle divisions nicely.
We are still lagging in prizes, I have about 2/3's of what is needed to give all finalists one item.
