Call it dog town part II. I saw an advance screening of the next great skate documentry this weekend. It's called stoked (the rise and fall of GATOR) as you may have guessed it's all about everyones ex fav Mark "gator". As for a review of this flick I would give it a 8 or 9 to dog town's 10. i call it dog town II because it picks up right where that movie left off. It has all your favorite 80;s skaters along with one who's name escapes me but every time he is on the screen he cracks me up. Do your selves a favor and keep a eye out for this movie and show it's maker some suport.

Sorry, dudes, you got the name completely wrong. I came up with a few that describe your movie better:
"Too Much Park Skating"
"Too Much Shortboarding"
"Too Much Bad Music"
As you might have guessed this movie contains a *lot* of park skating and shortboarding and the soundtrack also left a lot to hope for (punk and trashy rock isn't what I want to listen in a longboarding video). The editing is standard "trick'n'cut" type familiar from all the shortboarding videos on the market. Even the short longboarding segments are slashed into even shorter pieces. There is no flow whatsoever. There aren't too many longboarding videos out there so please leave the shortboarding to people who do it for living.
Jake Piasecki's footplant on top of the huge vert extension did make me go "whoa!" Otherwise it was a disappointing movie. Don't bother buying.
BTW. I've been wondering if the Sector 9 team riders use the Pivot trucks too and this movie answered my question: yes they do and boy does it show! Although the riders are skilled you can see their boards wobbling in almost every dowhill carving shot. In the short speedboarding clip they do use Randals though.

Scott - I’ve just watched the latest S9 movie entitled Too Much Mojo. As with S9’s earlier movie, Red-9, the pool skating far outweighs the downhill action. There’s not much evidence of the soul that both the Rollin’ and Big Stick movies have. Overall, it’s OK, I’d rate it 5/10, but it reminded me so much of all the other regular skate videos out there, by which I mean short-board/pool stuff. We want an S9 movie to be mostly about longboarding right? Would suggest watching it before parting with your hard earned cash. On the positive side, the Jimmy Rao trick riding was as excellent as ever and the soundtrack is cool if you like your music on the heavy side.

Gravity has put up a few web-clips, but at or about the end of Summer they will release a new video. The footage of Sergio Yuppie sliding is fantastic and will blow away anything that has been videoed before!
