Go for it JMA. Maybe October when the north turns cold and after Morro bay. We should talk to street skaters for a bank slalom event. Chris

To Clingfilm, Claude and all the others,
You're sincerly welcome !
All the Marseille's skate/slalom spots have a kind of magic...
Perhaps can we work together on the South Boardfest with 2 days of slalom (banked/tight/GS/SGS) ?

me, mog and marcel had a few hours of cruisin, no bruising and a little bit of losing. found a great downhill wide smooth pavement near Chancery lane (with implanted 'cones'!), then on into the guts itself. A lot of pushing, one pathetic carpark, a dusk carve session @ South bank, a bottle of french cider in soho, a walk home, toasted sandwich fest then pass out. Hey lushers, are we gonna have time to visit the Nat Centre for Peforming music? How far away is it from the sk8park. i think it's gonna ro........

Simon Levene, Clingfilm and I met up for a lovely Sunday roast at Chris's, then off to the car park in Sevenoaks. Big space, no cars, no hassle. We tested the timing gear for Sheffield, which works fine. Except it always registers 2 seconds slower when I run the cones. Odd. I will fix this. (More practice). I'll be posting details of the timer soon to those who are interested. Its simpler than the radio operated one I made, but needs a long length of wire between the start/finish. Cost: Under £20. (The plans are free, you make it yourself) Hope you all had a great weekend, lets hope its dry for Sheffields outside events, 6 days and counting.

me and the Brixton beach crew are planning on cruising Hyde Park - meeting at the tea wagon by the bridge over the serpentine 1400ish, then heading up to Meanwhiles 1 and 2. Whats this weird grey stuff in the air - is it mist or what?

If you are up for a skate there is a great flat/slopping car park in Sevenoaks, right next to the station, hey its the station carpark. It is also enormous. As you come into the station look right and there it is. There is also an underground carpark from the new BT building if it is wet, but we might get busted. Mike and Drayton had a go there one day. The surface is fantastic and very fast and will prove a good warm up for Sheffield. I plan to comfirm my set-ups there on Sunday afternoon. Its easy and cheap to get there from Charing Cross or to drive.
