I'm coming to Sydney...

What's up Sydney slalomers! I'll be arriving in Sydney from the states next week, and I'll be there for 3 months or so. I'd love to get in on any slalom sessions that are going down!

bugs,
thanks for putting together the vid. Good music too - "watch me eat a hot dog, oh yeah"
We had a fun day on Sunday. That second course was challenging!
And everyone is getting better.
Way to go Fitzy - goes to show how much you can improve in no time! And this from the guy who lamented "my feet are too big to slalom" not so long ago, lol!
Catch you all on the flipside!
peace

Cone time
On 8/19/2005 Scott wrote in from Australia  (203.94.nnn.nnn)

After seeing Bugs PocketPistol setup with double front wedges and double rear dewedges I decided to set mine up similar. Double front and a steeper single dewedge rear on the long wb holes. And as luck would have it i discovered a set of 82a green Avalons at Manly Boarders. Rocket bearings and now im wondering about all this speed I was missing out on. It fly's now. Keen to run some cones on the weekend. Anyone else!

More on Sunday sessions
On 8/15/2005 Bugs wrote in from Japan  (59.167.nnn.nnn)

Just adding to the chorus - two great sessions on Sunday at Allawah and Homebush. That hill at Homebush is a PPP - Perfectly Pumpable Pitch - easy and non-scary for beginners, but still capable of good speed with a bit of effort.

We need some more night sessions there!

Sunday SEssions
On 8/14/2005 haggy wrote in from Australia  (203.45.nnn.nnn)

dudes,
Great riding yesterday at Allawah. Set a pretty fun course through the trees and the banked corner, wide offsets, long turns from side to side. Fast, challenging, and all fun. We recorded timed runs (well, stopwatch timed) and it was cool to see everyone shave seconds off their times throughout the afternoon... And that was followed by a dope session at the olympic park, running a tighter, pumpy course. stay posted for further wiggles...
peace out

Hi Jim, very happy to help out and get involved with this event in any way. I can supply time and energy (and prizes if need be). Just let me know. (03 443 5403). Not that this might be important but the 12th feb 2006 is the Olympic halfpipe finals so we can have a beer or two and watch it on TV later. Eddie
