Ok then, it seems that Kanufi is not interested in the wheels after all - I will be travelling up the East Coast of Australia over the next week and a half so if anyone else would like to try and meet up to get these wheels please email me: themuzzo@hotmail.com. My internet access might be a bit infrequent but I will check as often as possible.

Hey, any one who would to be a sponsor of the National Tight slalom titles at Sydney olympic park dec 3rd, please let me know, any gear will be given out for prizes, can give you signage at event .there wil be big crowds on the day, Montley Crew and Megadeath are playing 100 metres away at superdome plus a huge car show on as well. Also anyone have any take off ramps available, would be very good. regards Brad

Yeah, i used to live in coogee and drop my ex off at work at the centennial park stables and go across the street and run courses on the netball courts all the time. absolutely perfect for cyberslalom, that is for sure. Do you know if they are lit up at night? we could meet up on wed or thurs night there and have a session if there are lights. lemme know, peace out

Tim, funny you should mention netball courts as Haggy and I were riding some a couple of weekends ago. These courts were terraced on a hill, with nice ramps from one court down to another. Lotsa fun - you can set up some pretty funky courses.
Allawah is kinda steep, especially the slope on the left. The slope on the right is OK though. P5 at Homebush is a bit gentler than both.
Come to the next slalom session we have.

Hi Sk8ters, Gonna be in Sydney next weekend then travelling up to Cairns by car. Was just wandering what the new park @ Bondi is like ,& whether there are any other parks suited to a sk8ter who likes to carve big crete parks on a slalom board. I could also bring some sk8 stuff If any body wants anything. I can get my hands on the whole 3dm range as I understand that they r in short supply over there.

I know you guys have talked about More park before , but have you ever skated the netball courts behind the tennis courts near fox studio's. Flat I know but would be a great spot for a cyber slalom set up. I spent a couple of hours there today for a pump session and i could get up a bit of speed. Smoooooth as , painted green surface in a high friction finish, like fine sand paper. A breeze made for a very fast pump in 1 direction and a hard 1 into the wind. I have never run cones but would love to try . Went down to Allawah and found the slope too steep for slalom at my skill level.

Sydney Uni has a couple hills that would work for slalom, but they consistently have traffic during the week. I haven't been on campus at all during the weekend, so I don't know what it's like then. I might be able to check it out this weekend.
I won't be able to make the Thurs night session. I'll have to catch the next one.

Slalom, Thursday 7pm at P5

Who's up for a session at P5 on Thursday night (22nd)?
Re new slalom spots - there's a bike track that runs along the Cooks River from Tempe, past Dulwich Hill, Canterbury, and beyond. Most of it is bordered by parks. There's gotta be some good spots along there somewhere. It's a big area to explore - the best way is probably on a bike.
My other idea is schools - they often have a couple of roads through them, and they're empty on weekends. Just have to find a good one, and hope we get left alone by any security guards.
Eric - if you're listening, are there any likely slalom spots at Sydney Uni?

Allawah Saturday 11am session is on. How about we try some dual lane action? i know it's windy but we could try a crossover... rough times on the stopwatch would tell us whether the lanes are comparable. then we can run a little outlaw for kicks. dual elimination??
