tracker baseplates
On 5/26/2001 Ryan M wrote in from (207.220.nnn.nnn)

gullwing metal or composite baseplates are both a perfect swap for sixtrack or extrack hangars, the pro3 baseplates have the 45 degree pivot just like trackers, the kingpins are gonna be shorter though, my sixtracks are on gullwing composite baseplates and there's not much room left for the outer bushing. Oldschoolskates.com has both of these in stock.

Tracker replacement bases
On 5/25/2001 Pre-School Rider wrote in from (209.198.nnn.nnn)

Duane, you should be able to find replacement bases at www.oldschoolskates.com/ ,although the metal ones are hard to come by.If you really dislike the Ultralight plastic bases, and need metal ones, you can use the B-2 baseplate or the Tracker Aggro Street base(it turns quicker than normal trackers).A non Tracker base that works is the Suregrip/Invader baseplate. The pivot bushing will be a tough fit,but it's off by only a millimeter or so(not at all like old vs. newer tracker plates)and it may squeak for awhile.

Tracker Baseplates
On 5/25/2001 Duane wrote in from (65.201.nnn.nnn)

Wanted: baseplates to replace busted plastic tracker plates. Have two sets extrack hangers, need metal bases that fit. These hangers have the larger, later pivot, the earliest Tracker baseplates will not fit. OK if not tracker if they fit right. Would also appreciate advice on which brand plates, including new ones, fit properly.

Quicksilver
On 5/24/2001 Kirt wrote in from (152.163.nnn.nnn)

I think what your asking is a ligitimate question. I have wondered about this myself. I have sold alot of vintage boards on Ebay and can tell you this. Sometimes As a seller you start high and if nobody buys the item after the alloted amount of time you can relist the item. If it didn't sell for the price you thought it was worth then you list it lower to move it out of your inventory to buy something else. I think thats what you are seeing,However In my opinion the question of friends raising a bid so as not to sell at a low price probabally does take place, especially if the item is listed with no reserve. Comments?

Quicksilver
On 5/24/2001 Herbn wrote in from (216.107.nnn.nnn)

If a board climbs and climbs in price; then when the auction ends it comes right back from the same seller back at a low price. Does this mean this jerk off is just yanking us around and having his friends bid on his board?
