Hugh,
The guy who will be posting for me had camera problems. Then I had Michael Breem take photos and e-mail them to my friend for posting. I'm hoping to see it listed very soon!
Keep checking,
Cliff

Herbn,
Skateboarder Magazine was originally called, "the quarterly Skateboarder". Volume 1 Number 1 was the Winter issue 1964. It shows Dave Hilton on the cover doing the Big Jump, high jumping while skateboarding. There were four issues of "the quarterly Skateboarder".
Cliff Coleman
p.s. I have only two of the four. I wish I had them all!

Skateboarder mags first year,75?76?,the year i missed, bought my Banzai in 75 i don't think i even considered that there would be a magazine for skateboarding, not that any stores carried it.I may have seen them in the shop i bought my first few boards in, but i never bought them.I actually had a claywheeled board before that, that my parents picked up out of the garbage,we cleaned and oiled the loose bearings ,on news paper in front of our apartment on a warm summer afternoon a few years before moving further into the suburbs.

Dave G.: trades for the Pacers? They are in very good shape, used but really just scuffed, usual 20 yr discoloration. Bearing assemblies show a faint trace of oxidation on the surface, need to be cleaned. I would clean and lube them before shipping. No smashed seals. Bearings are Japanese, have other letters on them but they are not in front of me right now. You can still get bearings this size new, so you must be after the spacers / sleeves?

hugh, I measured the wheels with calipers(as opposed to comparing them to other wheels) and found that the black ones are 62.5mmx50mm. this is probably what you seek.

That Plummer should come up soon, the nose is bashed a bit, with holes from a nose bone that either didn't work,or the smashing came after it was removed, the tail has deep skiding, this board was not coddled but it's a tough board. The pheonixs themselve are probabely worth a fair amount.

Yes,but don't get so worked up. Anything said here pretty much goes in one byte and out the other, how many times do ya think the wedgepad, or the sliderglove, or the colemann slide questions have been asked, with the answer just a few posts down.Few people read down, much less use the search function,if i felt i was slandered(and that's a very provoking, argumentive word),i would just post up a filibuster on anything that came to mind, just put that post off the front page and for all intents and purposes,it's gone.Sorry if i offend.Happy happy joy joy posts now for a while:)

Missed your post, not cowardly, typing bravely with one finger as usual.I was questioning what happens on ebay, being honnest with my doubts about what was going on.It just looked strange,if it's common ebay practice, fine.i scan ebay pretty regular now, keeping interesting stuff on "favorites" so it seems to me like if no one bids your minimum ,then you should give it a rest and try again after some time has passed,i'm not the only one who thought it looked strange,so regardless of the reality, you're now aware of what reposting on Ebay like that may look like to us less ebay savy.
