i am looking for a "freeboard" in good condition. i know they are a fairly new product and there probably aren't that many out there so any non biased info about the boards would be helpful as well. i am also considering a sector 9 pintail (deck only or complete) in good condition.

I have designed and am now selling a new longboard. Although I am totally biased, I am at least honest about it- unlike a lot of the postings here. I have designed a longboard 46" featuring the best components on the market- Xtreme Wheelz and Randal Trucks with a solid birch/mahogany deck, other features as well. Otherwise known as a touring board, you can check out the concept at www.migrationboards.com . It's kind of like the Humvee of skateboards.

Hey everybody, I've got news that will probably stoke a lot of you. It's nothing new to me except the new part, but I've just gotta' share it with the whole world. Okay, ALVA, if you don't know the name, then you're probably not reading this anyway but for everybody else, here goes. First thing's first. Yes, Tony's still making boards and has been for as long as I know. Anyway, he's also had a website up moreless dedicated to him for quite some time now and that in and of itself isn't too big of a deal, but now, you can check out his newest line of boards right over the 'net. The website address is http://www.angelfire.com/ca/alva2/. Of course at this point, you can blow up about a zillion pictures to get a better look at the past to almost present of Tony and you can also check out a bunch of interviews he's done over the years. To see the new boards, simply find the white rectangle with the Alva logo and click on that bad puppy. From there, you have entered the future of Alva Skateboards. You will find the current mailing address, and phone and fax number to get ahold of one or more of his new boards. Tell all your friends. Go nuts and just remember who one of your biggest influences and/or inspiriations was growing up. Also, I'm not sure if he's still doing this or not, but he was accepting orders for custom boards. Basically, his boards are double kick concave maple-ply and he even has a new 42" longboard, 6-ply epoxy or something. My point being that he was if still not is making boards in your choice of 10 shapes, from 3 different mold sizes, at any length you want (within reason of course). Just for your info., the newest mailing address is 403-B Wisconsin Ave., Oceanside, CA, 92054, and the phone and fax number is (760)967-0595. Call them for more info. on the boards and prices, etc. Tell 'em James Allen Davis referred you. Well, later sk8ers, peace out Audi 5000 Gzus, I'm outta' here. Sincerely, MC Equalibrium (James Allen Davis).

Seismic 110mm slalom trucks

Hey everybody, if anybody has a pair of Seismic 110mm (hanger width not including axles) trucks or knows where to get a pair, please get ahold of me and let me know who, where, and how to get ahold of them. I am very serious about getting a pair of these and have even wrote Daniel Gesmer, the guy that owns Seismic and he's not sure where to get a pair either. The only way he'll make them again is if he gets an order for 50 or more so if anyone else out there would like to ride the world's best trucks, contact Dan at SeismicSK8@aol.com and tell him that James Allen Davis referred you. Seismics come in 3 widths, currently 135, 146, and 157mm. To see what they look like, please look under the trucks department of this website and go down to 8-16-97 to see a nice full-color picture of them. You all know that you're curious how they'd feel under your feet and there's only one way to find out, riding them. Also, they come with four different spring tensions to match the style of riding you might want to use them for, silver being the softest for extremely springy, slalom, surfy type applications, red being the next stiffer for more practical everyday street riding applications, and then two more (not sure of colors right now, ask Dan), each one getting stiffer designed for more stability and for downright hill bombing, speed-induced, adrenaline junkies like a lot of you out there know you are. In other words, Dan has made a truck that will work for everyone from the old geezer just cruising to the store to get something, to some of you speed freaks out there that just can't get enough downhill under your belts. If you'd like to find out more about Seismic trucks, contact Daniel Gesmer either by e-mail, SeismicSK8@aol.com, by phone (303)440-9449, fax.(303)440-7107, or the good old-fashioned postal service: Seismic Skate Systems Inc., 1630 30th St. #257, Boulder, CO, 80301, USA. Once again, if anybody could please help me get a pair of Seismic 110s, it would be sincerely appreciated and I'd be extremely stoked. E-mail me at mcequalibrium@hotmail.com. Later sk8ers, peace out Audi 5000 Gzus, I'm outta' here. Sincerely, MC Equalibrium. P.S., this is not a paid advertisement or in any way connected to Seismic Skate Systems Inc.. I, James Allen Davis, accept all responsibility for said content and am telling you that Seismics rule! One more thing and this has nothing to do with Daniel Gesmer or Seismic trucks but is merely a statement made on my behalf. To every single person in this world, JESUS LOVES YOU! Later.
