$300 Tony Hawk Board

Actually, I re-read the post and it all made sense to me. Those just weren't the brand of bearings Tony Hawk used to pull the first 900, they were THE ACTUAL BEARINGS he was riding at the time. Kinda like the actual bat Babe Ruth used or something. Which makes the board totally worth it and quite a steal at half off! I got dibs!

Kaylee, your forgetting that the board was signed by Flameboy himself with a wood burning art kit,and Tony Hawk autographed the bearings, used a engraver and a magnifing veiwer:)

$145 for non-ceramic bearings that Tony Hawk used? What kind of Masters Degree does it take to spend $300 on a flipper deck (science is a broad subject: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, what are we talking here)? Even my Seismic and Swiss equipped decks didn't cost that much! Just out of curiosity I went to CCS and built a complete out of the exact same parts mentioned, except I left out the dooks risers and used Swiss bearings, and Black Magic grip tape. Basically, I used all the most expensive parts, even colored baseplates on the indy's for $4 more. My total, with shipping, came to $139. Add to that some dooks risers and some $145 bearings, and you're still not at $300. Where the hell do you live, are those Canadian dollars or was shipping a pain in the ass or what??

Brand New Deck, trucks, bearings, wheels, risers, grip tape, and hardware for half off!

Hi all! I have a brand new Flameboy World Industries deck, new Independent trucks, new terminator precision bearings, new black magic grip tape, new dooks 1/2" risers, new Independent 1/4" shock pads, new World Industries 57mm Flameboy Specials wheels, and new 1 1/4" Independent hardware for sale. I spent over $300 making a custom board. The Terminator precision bearings are the same kind that Tony Hawk had on his board when he did the 900. The bearings alone costed $145. They are very fast. You're probably wondering why I don't want to keep it... I don't have enough time to skate now that I'm doing finals tests for my masters degree in science, and my job is killing me. I need the money. All I ask for is around $150. Email me if you're interested. Everything is still in the packaging that I bought it in, un-opened, & un-touched.

I'd like to pass along a John Schultes mini. Its blue and the graphic is sort of a king holding a round red object with a cross coming out of it. (sorry im not more descriptive) Anyways, it has never been mounted or gripped, just moved around, resulting in a few surface scratches, nothing that hurts the board, just keeps it from being a mint wallhanger, besides, I think it wants to be ridden. Oh yeah, and its basically a hammerhead shape, thanks, please e-mail, will take trade, cash etc. am very open to ideas, and it won't hurt to ask steve m

Actually, try oldschoolskates.com (no www.) or www.oldschoolskateboards.net. Then there's www.skatepool.com and www.ebay.com. There's also this one in the UK that sells mostly 70's stuff, but I don't have the link for it anymore.

Looking to sell a mint set of 1978 airflow snapback wheels. Look to be about 65mmx40mm and 85duro. You remember airflow, they broke off from Belair board in the late 70s. They were based out of Crofton MD. We just sold a mint '78 airflow pig with gullwing pros and wings conical wheels to a local collector. check out www.spyhillskates.com to see the board and his collection. We also have a fairly mint 1976 Mike Williams belair deck. Let me know if anyone is interested in either of these products.
