Thanks for posting that pic of JohnnyB. I spoke on the phone with him tonight on my way to the Grindline "design" meeting in Stamford. We joked about asking for a foam pit. And wouldn'tcha know ... some grommit asked for exactly that.
I also found out that the crew coming to town will include little Eddie. Which is cool by me.
Oh, and my crankle is all healed up. But I haven't skated since mid-December. I think I remember how.

What is wrong with Ray? I had the pleasure of skating with Mr. Underhill back in the Vancover Kevin Harris Skate Ranch days back in the 80s. I remember skating the mini and there was a long haired fellow who did not seem to skate the mini too good. We later skated the old Expo ramp and the guy straight killed it. Good guy, very friendly. I hope he is ok.

to bring you a different kind of event. We have for you world famous (RITCHIE CARRASCO) 360' king, along with his team mate Gary Holl. They will provide the 1st ever freestyle state boarding demo ever in San Luis Obispo. We believe that doing this kind of an Event will bring a different kind of skateboarding to the community. Witch lets us @ CCMF RACING, have a more hands on with the young kids who are interested in skateboarding as a sport .We are working with the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT with this Event .The Event will consist of many different kinds of board riding, we will be having a contest, free style skating, the highest Ollie off the ground, best board trick, the most 360’ on a skate, and the high jump over a limbo bar. All proceeds will go to the San Luis Obispo skate park fund. The skateboard park will be open during the contest for open skating, we will shut down for a short park slalom demo from a select few, The free style contest will be in the roller rink next to the skate park, with a demo, by SK8 KING TEAM, cyber slalom demo, along with a open skate in the roller rink. Sunday morning at 10 sharp the contest starts, so don’t be late for sigh ups. Saturday in San Luis Obispo at the tradingpost skate shop, from 11am to 2pm there will be a free sk8 in front of the shop ,as well as any skate board advise from (jonny miller and the ccmf crew).that evening will be a outlaw race on oconner way,1 mile downhill ,must contact ccmfjonny@yahoo.comand to place your entry this is a special race, must contact jonny miller. Saturday night there will be a special event planned by OUTLAW RANCH PRODUCTIONS, we will be hosting the 1st ever show of the stars. Legionary skate board super stars, Steve Olson, Pat Ngoho, and Lance Mountain will be showing there art along with our local artist Jonny Miller and our special guest, also we will be showing old skateboard and surf movies, come support our local skateboard scene. We are adding a park slalom event to the Oregon State Games (see contest calendar).
It will be June 1st, if we get the permit for the park use.
As part of the permit process, I'd like to obtain some pictures and rules for park slalom events, or (best case) an example of a sucessful permit application for a park slalom event.
Can anyone help me out?
