Joe, I took a picture of every contestant in that race specifically so you'd have 'em. Notice the inordinate amount of series of you Casey and Will.

K-Lee, no one in their right mind would click on that link and have a chance at pulling it off without a major brain wobble! I think it's the Parallel Stance/Skewed Geometry Transition equation for the Seismic kingpin angle.... during a Bertleman.

Thanks Joe, but I think I'll be okay for trucks, especially since I'm tutoring 7 days a week now, I won't be needing them any time soon. The student that I tutor that needs the most help wants to meet with me tomorrow at noon, so that takes me out of the skating for this weekend. Well, it's been kinda rainy anyway....
Say hello do Dr. Skateboard for me, I still haven't met that fellow. I'll just have to catch up with you guys next weekend. I have Fall Break coming up, a 4 day weekend from the 16th to the 19th. And I KNOW that football players don't do math homework over Fall Break, so I'm down to get in some wheel spinnin' then.

I know Calvary at noon isn't the best idea BUT it's when Dr. Skateboard has, so I want to stoke him. He hasn't ridden it and YES we will take over!! Chris M. was telling me that he was on the phone with Kryptonics and they offered him a rate on bulk wheels. I don't remember the specifics, he can fill us in on that. But it was something like, if ten people go in they can get 3 sets each for the price of 1, or something. He also said we could pick the color.

So... Bigger wheels really smooth those ditches out, and the Spiller and certainly Carmel are way worth the expense. We should get a bunch of ditchers to go in on some Classic Racecore 80s in the white thane, or whatever the group chooses.

Mark, you beat me to it! I've been running around campus trying to coordinate with people for an Analytical Mechanics study group tonight, so I've been a little too busy to locate a 'puter here on campus with full network capabilities that will let me upload files to my webspace. I finally break away long enough to download, resize, and upload the beer run pic that Palmer sent to me. Then I come over here to this forum to post it, and lo and behold, there it is, waiting for me! Holy crapola Batman, I feel like I'm in a time warp or something.

By the way, Mark, I've been working with those sequences you took at the races. I'm gonna turn them into animated .gif files so that they become little movies (think flip book). I do believe that the lovely Nyah will be able to give me a ride to the park on Saturday. She may or may not want to hang out for a bit, so I may need a ride home after all the fun. I've just got one question for you: Calvary at noon on a Saturday? You must like running into roller-kids at full speed. I guess we can hog the bowl, but I like using the street section too, that bank is perfect for learning berts and such. Oh well, Fall Break is coming up soon, I'll be able to go get in some 8:00am empty park runs then, hopefully.
Then the Bear? Damn, I STILL don't have a good Bear board set up at the moment. Still waiting on being able to afford some new trucks for my Mad Bomber II (college sucks sometimes). Well, I guess I can fart around in the flatbottom or something.
Jeeze, I sound fun don't I? Not into Calvary at noon, not into the Bear either. However, I DO have a to-do list that's been piling up lately:

2. Bridge st. ditch (anyone?)
3. Encantado
4. Vert ramp

By the way, has anyone skated the ditch that runs parallel to Bridge street on the westside? A guy named Matt (I think) told me about it and said that it has a fast bike path that runs right into it, giving you as much speed as you can handle. Anyone got any pics of that one?
