Andre and Amir are doing great. Andre seems to become a better photographer by the second. All of us are trying to board as much as we can, but lately school and wether are not helping. I cant wait till winter break so we can actually go to the funnel and the chute again, plus there are 3 new ditches that we scoped that are waiting to be tested... Seems like math is keeping you busy. Well, I gotta go study some more accounting... Take care bro. Gus.

Yo, Sharron why haven't you called me and/or e-mailed me. I've been out off work and couldn't eat because i worry about you. My cell phone been by me 24/7, face pressed against the receiver ..and no ring from you. I couldn't even take a shower ...afraid that i'll miss ya call. People i passby i overheard them saying that i smell like armpits skunk and my butt needs wipping. I guess i should go the bathroom when i suppose to, oh well.
Oh Sharron,I wished i can float out of my body and say hi to you. No success on that one. I'll try to be patient with ya. We have some greats when i visited ya, yah? What did i do wrong to deserve this torment? Sometimes when i sleep, i think i squeeze my teddy bear too tight but ..hey, he's only a stuff animal. Well i've grown a bond with him and we created an "I Hate Sharron Club".
HAa hAhhh haaaaa ..Just kidding. Hee heeee
That's was fun, well anyway, how are ya Babe, hope you are doing well and rocking out crazy over in NMex. I'm doing fine and getting better at flipping my board. Just needs to land it on those half pipes. Well hit me a sentence or so.

That ditch is 3 mile, it's alittle over half way down b4 Candelaria, I don't know if that spine is grindable, you'll need a lot of wax an maybe a grinder to smooth it out. the brushed concrete there is pretty rough. I always looked at it while bombing down, It kinda slows down there, so it would be fun to hit if you have an ollie board, (I never stopped, except when I caught a giant crack in the wall on the otherside) Any way, No more mystery ditch, it's just the middle of 3 mile.

Ditches Are deadly, Stay Away!
More updated goodies, including the following animation of WRIV taken by Paul Drake:
WRIV 540 slide
I've got new stuff to update, so expect even more in the near future. For those of you who are wondering why it takes so long to do an update on the directory, try doing this kind of stuff every week and see how much spare time you're left with:
K-LEE's current Statistical Mechanics homework...
That kind of crap keeps me too busy for my own good, and prevents me from posting here more often as I would prefer. On that note, I'd like to apologize to Lenny for taking WAY too long to answer his post regarding my helmet. The helmet I use is a multiple-impact high density foam Kevlar reinforced waterproof Kayaking helmet made by Grateful Heads. They cost a bit more than standard skate, bike, and snow helmets, but don't need to be replaced after you drop them on the ground. The biggest problem I had with mine was the lack of ventilation. I guess kayakers don't care about how hot their head gets when their dipping below the water all the time. I had to drill some ventilation holes in mine and cut slots in the liner, but now I love it. I'm sure there's a better helmet out there somewhere, but these ones have great style! I also like the "Edge" and "Drop Zone" models, they remind me of Devo and the Conquistadores, respectively.
Tony, if I knew the location of the New Mystery Ditch, it wouldn't be much of a mystery then, huh? Actually, when Paul Drake and Wenztle Ruml and (....can't remember the name of the other fellow, the one actually skating in the mystery photo...damn) came out to do some photo shoots, I left them to their own devices because I had lots of classes that day. Low and behold they found a spine ditch that none of the locals know about, apparently. I'm in the process of getting that info from Paul, I hope he remembers how he found it. I want to grind that spine too!!!
Gotta go, school calls. Keep your eye peeled for more ditch action in the near future though!
ride on....
