Yo, Stubb-man, I've got that ABQ map scanned and ready. E-mail me with format requirements and transfer options. If you survived the roadtrip, that is. ;-)

(not sure) won the cody classic.(I obviously, was to far in back) Anyway it was one weekend to remember, I gotta start a freakin book, Crazy skateboardin, drunkard weekends! thanks again to everyone who showed up.

Bear Board: Bozi Mad Bomber II (older all-wood version), 180mm Seismics w/ 45* base and yellow springs front, 30* base and red springs rear, mounted flat on 1/4" rubber risers, 81a Gumballs up front, 78a rear, PT7 sealed bearings. Nothing could have made me faster, and anything else would have made me slower.
Thanks to all who were there. It was good to meet new faces (we still have to skate Concussion Stubbs!) and see familiar ones. Thanks thanks thanks!!!!!

Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a weekend!!!! Made the trek with my bro Caleb from Dallas, got in Wed. night, made a call to Mr. Lowrie and pulled off I 40 right into Los Altos park and met up with him. 30 minutes later we were atop Indian School with orange and purple ABQ sunset in our faces. At crap at 25mph into a yucca plant and bailed hard! I GOT DITCH SLAPPED and I loved it!! Nice intro to ABQ ditches and I my elbow is still not the same. Gave Rob McKendry a ride to Trinidad and that guy has some hilarious stories. Great meeting ya Rob! Everywhere you look in ABQ there is something to ride. K-Lee gave me a ditch map and showed me 3 he has not been able to get to and was asking if I could check them out. The guy lives there and there are so many HE can't get to them all. It is so killer to see so many people riding in all terrains and genres and ripping in all of them. And everyone one of these guys are smiling and laughing throughout and having a blast. I have skied (now snowboard)since I was seven, usually spending a week at a time in the mountains 2 or 3 times a year. This week was better than all the snow acivity I have had in my lifetime. ABQ IS SKATEBOARD TOWN USA in my book. EVERYONE RIPS EVERYTHING! And their hospitality is second to none. PALMER, LOWRIE, RAMOS, GMB, TIMESHIP JOE, K-LEE, all these guys were so accomodating. I was so impressed with what is going on in ABQ I am now searching for employment in ABQ. I have been spoiled by the greatest variety of terrain in the world after this last week and can't live without it. Plus what a great way to rid myself of that belly! That altitude will kick your ass. Gotta shut down, my time is running out on this library computer.

WOW, what a gas! I am now fully recovered from the bear weekend. Thanks to Timeship for putting it all together. I totally had a blast. Congrats PALMER on a job well done. The slalom on Sunday was fun. Too bad the rest of BLR didn't show. I don't know about anyone else, but I dig watchin' those guys run it.
Anyway, it was a great weekend, great fun and I can't wait for Sandia!

Got a phone call last night from Sir Stubbs. He was AMPED! His computer is down, so he asked me to write and let everyone know how blown away he was with the ABQ scene. He was extremely impressed with everything...the Bear, the pool sessions...everything.
In short, it would appear that Stubbs had one of the best skate experiences of his life...you folks in ABQ are lucky to live in such perfect terrain!
