AREA-51
On 7/20/2004 Myrran wrote in from (67.116.nnn.nnn)

Directions to area-51?? What do you have to trade! :) We probably know about it already! There are a lot of people looking for this ditch but you wont get directions that easy. Ice Man stop leading him on there is no directions on [url]http://www.sflongboard.conforums.com[\url] but the are great pics of us tearing it up. Post some pics of the ditches you wnt to trade! Being that Area_51 is the best in the bay aea i hope there good. We could possibly talk about a beer bribe. I should make a application for directions to this site. We dont want any Groms blowing it out. It be somthing like Name/age/location/# of years been sk8ing! Ha ha maybe not. We might leak more info about this ditch this winter after we get 1 good summer of riding out of it!

Hey, I'm aggressively looking for directions to the Area 51 ditch somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area. I live in Palo Alto, and would be willing to trade directions to two or three little-known Bay Area ditches. Help me out guys!

Thanx aplenty,
~Neil

Afroman el Disco
On 7/8/2004 Stubbs wrote in from (209.30.nnn.nnn)

The el Disco is in high demand but low supply, Lowrie. If we had any in stock I'd get you one for little to nothing. Afroman, along with many other American board manus, are having a hard time getting wide enough laminates, especially longs. The 45" X 9.75" el Disco is cut from an 11" wide laminate. The el Disco is in production right now and as soon as one gets to me it will be in your hands.

maybe, not the long good one though
On 7/8/2004 Lowrie wrote in from (68.35.nnn.nnn)

I'm not sure about the ones we put there, but I know they didn't take out the long brick one, good ole once a year put the city workers to use, they can't battle us over the park fence any more cause we won the war! Now break the curbs cause no kids can break liquid nail. Oh well, they won the battle, but the war has just begun...

Stubbs, How much for the El Disco? shoot me an email.
oh yeah, it's land of entrapment, you have to make your own enchantment

Let me know how it does, Kaylee!

Lowrie - The city actually took the time to bust them and throw them in? Unreal. Does not sound very "enchanting" to me.

On 7/7/2004 Lowrie wrote in from (68.35.nnn.nnn)

you shoulda came by last night it was a small sesh. rob, carey, phillip from santa fe?, and myself. it was good. did you see the city's hatered towards us?
it looks like they took a jackhammer and destroyed the curbs we had all the way down I.S. they left all the chunks and crumbs in the ditch. It wasn't pleasant to find when I got there from a downhill wind. luckily I've learned to look plenty forward (the hard way) anyway, we'll be putting some more back soon i'm sure.

Stubbs,
I haven't hit up the Egg Bowl yet, but plan to in the next week or two. I'll report when I do. But I've got some Bones Bombers in 85a and some Krypto Slammers in 88a that can convert the Hustler from pool mode to ditch mode in the blink of an eye, gonna have to try those out soon as well.

Big Worm set up
On 7/6/2004 Stubbs wrote in from (68.93.nnn.nnn)

Mine is set up with Tracker Dart 219's with Tracker Super Ball bushings blue (90a). I have one 1/2" riser and an angle/wedge riser atop a 1/8" shock pad. I had to use 3" hardware with this set up. I alternate wheels between ABEC11 Flashbacks and No Skoolz. I prefer the 65mm No Skoolz in softer duros with this ride. Indian School ditch in ABQ was killer with this set up even with a tremendous wipe out. Good luck!

Stubbs,

I sent you an e-mail about ditches in Dallas. Got your e-mail from Brett Roper out here in Washington DC. Forgot to put in there what you suggest as the truck/wheel set up for the Big Worm for ditch skating. Post up here if you want about the Big Worm set up.

Thanks,

DR
