i had so much fun skating in cali this past week w/ isabel and liz a the temecula race was awesome bt the hill could have been a LITTLE faster im phsyced to come up again asap cuz the hills r smooth guess the nxt race is nationals....

This is a great oppurtunity for downhill FEMALE longboarders. My cousion Toni Gemayel, and I, Daniel Fernandez are planning a trans-continental downhill adventure looking for the best hills in the U.S. to skate down. In the process of this "search" the group will produce podcasts, videos, and pics all with our sponsors' names on it.

I'm sorry I missed you out here this week! I just got back from 2 weeks gone and only worked and slept all week. 2 nights to bed without dinner. Only got to skate an hour with GI Joe and Isa at Clairemont.
I'll see you in Colorado. It will be fun. I'm glad you were able to come skate with the Divas.

we all had a blast skating the temecula Battle of the Boards hill yesterday, thanks to lynn's great timing system, everone had 4 timed runs.
robin sherman was an animal in her first unplanned race - she only came to watch......hehehe and isa lehm and liz stockham also ripped it up.
next time we should start way further up the hill and get some speed into it.
well, i surely can't wait for Mike's next night session rally. that hill is way kool to cruise and very little traffic you can see in both directions - super wide, fun and long, can go like a snail or 25 mph if you push like hell.

Yes, It's not all about winning, but about seeing your friends, and seeing your friends improve. Katii was killing the courses. She has become really fluid and confident, and will be a contender if she keeps skating hard. Lisa always has a smile and a great attitude.
Some of the European women really improved, also, such as Evilyn from Switzerland (almost caught me two days in a row) and Katrin Sehl from Germany, who skated really well every day.
Sorry I missed the Divas on Saturday. I'll be skating this Saturday. Still recouperating my body from alot of abuse.

we had a blast despite the almost cancelation of the gathering due to rain.
we free skated a lot, did some speed boarding and a lot of slalom geared to work on high spped footbraking so when competitions come-up sfae stopping does not become an issue/danger.
IT WAS GREAT!
see you divas in 4 saturdays!

Isabelle, you would have LOVED the GS hill! Good speed and a great rhythm. I can't even think of a hill in SD to compare. Maybe the top 100 feet of the pumpstation right at the first manhole.

for club members only. $10 registration club fee, includes a local industry goodie bag.
the last saturday of each month, Downhill Diva Club memers will rally together at various, secret san diego area local spots to skateboard slalom, downhill and slope style disciplines as well as ask for instruction by myself on basic safety techniques such as foot braking, power sliding etc.
club rallies will run from 4:00pm to sunset.
JOIN IN THE FUN OF FEMALE ONLY SKATE VENUES!

The La Costa Open will have prize money for the top 3 women each day.
There will also be a novice race in the AM on Saturday and Sunday. It will be for boys and girls 12 and under, and for women who have little or no race experience. The novice races will be $15.

This just came out this morning in our local paper. The photographer came out and shot my lunch session. I haven't even seen the photo's but this was online today. My parents will be surprised when they read there morning paper.
