Skate History's Steven Picciolo, winner of the 1975 Del Mar freestyle has passed away. He has three surviving kids and they need help in just 9 days, to pay the necessary fees, approximately ($900.00). They just want to have a little closure by giving their Father his wishes by spreading his ashes as directed.
Please, as my friends and skate family, send what you can to help this family out.

Hello TK,
I'm sorry it takes me so long to reply! I only access the internet at the local internet cafe.
To get me to Utah would require a plane ticket, a negotiated fee for the event, reasonable, and a place to stay. I enjoy staying at skater's homes and getting to really know the people I skate with. This way, I learn who's doing what in the sport in all of the areas I visit.

When I think of the nice places and people I have met, Sweden is one of the many places that I think of. Say hello to Frida, Torbian, (sp?), his family and all of the skaters. Watching Salmon swim up the falls and picking blueberries and raspberries was great. Skating in the downhill was small but very competitive. The boat ride, the feast of fish, salads and beverages was so cool. As you get ready for this winter, think about next year, 11-22-09. I'll be 60 and everyone is invited to come and skate the Berkeley Hills where I first skated in 1960.

Thank you very much for all of your help this past weekend. All of the young riders were really excited to skate with you. You are welcome back to our home anytime you are in Calgary. Hopefully we will be seeing you next summer for Paskapoo.

I'm heading down to Brasil again on the 13th of October, and I'm bummed to hear you won't be able to make it down this time around. I've been saving my money and trying to go to as many places around the world as possible and they've all been super rad.

Say hello to my friends in the UK please. Regarding vendors advertising on any page other than the "Vendor's" page, it is against site rules.
Next year would be a good time to do another tour of the UK! I would still like to bring both Sergio and Mikima. We would need to charge about 100 pounds per festival, each being two days. We could have the traditional Pub visits and barbeques etc. Send me an e-mail if you would like to start working on something like this.

The First Ever RESTORMAL OUTLAW SLIDE COMPETION
Event info:
Date: 6th July
Were: Restormal water pump road
What: Slide competition,
What else: BBq’s, Water Sponsors and free ride after the competition
Prizes: £100 cash and goody bag for the winner, Goody bags for 2nd and
3rd i.e. Decks, T-shirts, DVDs etc
Competition entry fee: £5
Free Ride: FREE
Format:
-1 hour practice/warm up
-Round 1. Each rider has 3 runs and it is the combined scores of all 3
runs that will determine there point.
-Round 2. Quarter finals run in exactly the same format- points are from
a combination of all 3 runs.
-Round 3. Semi finals run in exactly the same format- points are from a
combination of all 3 runs.
-Round 4. Finals run in exactly the same format- points are from a
combination of all 3 runs.
-Falls don’t count to encourage radical and extreme manouvers.
-Points will be scored by 3 independent judges for; Technical ability,
Speed, Style and flow.

First of all, Congrats on the win at Danger Bay! The teeth are done and feeling great. The trip to Brazil, what can I say that you don't already know? It was about the same weather and the locals asked about you. I am having money deducted from my paychecks to pay for the dental bill. It isn't much. My phone doesn't connect to Canada.
