yo miller thanks for driving yesterday. your van is the perfect shuttle bus. the whole road was pretty clean, even the top part, despite one or two corners that were covered in snow, but we thrashed it anyways. it was a sic session, lots of shoe getting left on the road before the upper hairpins. Miller, are you officially the oldest person to skate the top section of the crest??? hope gumby had a good time..
i saw that COSS was having a race, i can't get time off, which sucks cus there is a show i want to see(gogol bordello) in Boulder that sunday. work sucks!

I really hope we can get an event on colorado's concrete version of Jaws. I talked to some of the colorado guys and they all agree that we are willing to help in anyway to get an event here. Price, i'll call you when the snow melts. Skate fast braddahs! Alohas

I answered a question on the fish about where to find out about the Tetonia event and said ncdsa.com has the Rogers Bro's and Kludy's forums as well as the Brasile forum and Coast riders will be updating on Coastlongboarding.com My post was removed and any computer I have used to post on the fish in the past will no longer allow me to do so. I can understand some of the frustration at the fish because of who runs the show. Malikai or Kai or Kingston whose real name is Robert Finkelstein has lied to me and my sponsors the way he has lied about his name. I have way too much fun riding and spreading the stoke like a disease but when you try to keep me quiet I will have to let my bro's know who you are...Bobby. You have pulled my posts and said who knows what behind me back but I ride boards heaps and smile real big chasing Will Brunson. I can understand your disdane for me, I don't have dreadlocks, lip piercings or a fake American Gladiator name and people still want to skate with me. So think before you try to edit what people post. I could unload some more negativity but I'm just over you and any dig you try to make rolls under my wheels.

just got home. tired. was a super fun trip, despite the big letdown that Rist Canyon had just gotten cindered like 2 days before we got there and was'nt ridable from the top. so we rode the hill from about 1/2 up where the cinders were not so bad. still ended up getting gps reading in the low 60s, which is crazy that we are hitting 60+mph on only 1/2 the hill! on my last run i wore josh's Garmin foreunner 301 GPS device and got a speed reading of 103mph. sweet, just put my name in the Guniness book.
rode another run 50mph+ hill after Rist with like 8 guys, that was super fun, we all got a ride up the hill one run from a guy with a big pick-up truck. after that we headed west to Vail to visit rob. stopped and had dinner with one of DT's friend, then drove through some gnarly snowstorms to get to vail. took it easy this morning while Rob cooked us breakfast, waited for the roads to dry and did some bus runs in beaver creek. that was really fun until it started snowing on us.
dt has a good idea. glow sticks in the corners at rist, ride it on a full moon in the summer, no traffic.

DT can't afford leathers, but he certainly can't afford to fall wearing that wet suit! Sure it's aero, but it's probably 68a durometer if it hits the pavement!

I know Wills weak spot, and I'm sure you are not to blame Wax 'cause you were at home with your family. The TSR Team seems to have a lower tolerance for those all nighters, thankfully Price is on the Bong Team instead of the Jim Beam Team. C'mon Will, you won the Harper Race in worse shape than that!!!

Thats the hardest part of the Speed thing here in ColoRADo... Palmer and DT are the only ones who seems to be able to play with the big boys here.. youve gotta survive the locals before getting to the hill....
Good luck today guys, looks like we are about at the end of the season for anything above 6000ft...
P.S. dont worry Joe, Will will be OK in a few days!!!!

top speed was 73 by dubes...we only had on gps working, so it's hard to say who had the actaul fastest time becasue everyone was going for it! Kludy did confirm that this was the fastest he's been, said it was "the smoothest pavement" he's ever rode. the road is so smooth, you dont even feel the road beneth your board, no vibrations from your deck. It feels like yo are on a magic carpet flying down the hill @ mach speed. Joe if you could get an event here it would be sick! sign me up.
price, the hill is not a total bust, we just cant ride it for long. suit up, take a few quick runs...and dig. It will help not being there on the weekend. I saw more cars on that hill yesterday than i've ever seen before. this is cause we usually hit it in the later after noon and during week days. So as long as the weather holds, and you guys dont mind riding other hills along with the big guy, it should still be on. We are gettin a storm tonite so im hopin the snow stays way up in the mountains and we just get rain. I'll keep you guys up to date. aloha

I can, and I know how to get one. I want to know is does Guinness hold the trade mark on what is a world record? Can it be a world record if they aren't there? Says who? Did Kludy confirm that it was the fastest he's ever been?
That's good enough for me!

I know joe heard about last nite, but for everyone who didnt..... it was SICK. everyone was throwing down runs in the very high 60s low 70s. Mckendry did not come to mess around. He had modified his deck with fairings in the front and back of his deck and added a weight to the front for add stability. He was also sproting larger wheels and an aero suit!! He was FLYYING!!! I spoted on the chicane one run, and at those speeds I could hear the wheels and bearings humming a good 20 sec before you even see the pack, INSANE. Sounds like star wars sound effects and shet. Kludy is running bearings that are years old, and he's killin it from the get go. After about 10 -12 runs, everyone is dialed, goin BIG. Out of no where comes cpt. BUZZKILL(da cop) to be a party pooper. SHEEETY. So he does his thing, stern..angry, takes all our info and starts in on his speech, tells us our shet is over and we cant do this stuff anymore. He even called us lugers, which we quickly corrected him. All in all it was pretty funny, I got the whole thing on film and the whole speech you see rob, barely out of the cops view making faces and flippin off the cop. So we leave the hill bummed, but we all made it through the day safe, and everyone was still stoked to ride the beast for as long as we did. I mean there were times we were passing cars at 70+, makes your butt pucker alittle, so it was good everyone walked away OK. So we just partyed like rock stars for the rest of the night, drinkin beers and listenin to kludy's and rob's riding stories. It made my weekend to ride and hang with those two, very cool.
Anyway, it seems we wont be able to session that hill for long periods of time til next season. I still plan on going some week days and taking 2-5 runs and then leavin. I dont know if you guys still wanna come up for that kind of riding but your still welcome to. We have other hills, but def. nothing like the big one. think about it and let me know what ya think price. shoots
