The Brown Bomber beat you but I'm sure getting second was worth the travel and training time! You can GS (and BS) with the best of them. Did you win the TSR Switch Challenge? Our Banshee Bungee sponsorship package arrived and we're going out today to test ride / rip / wreck it. Get ready to ZING!
DT's visit was good, I took him to Indian School for a couple of last runs before he got on the bus headed for El Paso. His aluminum Rogers Bros. board was a real head turner, it probably could have survived any guard rail or grate. Say hi to all of our SoCal homies, see you soon!
Ditch Slap will be held April 30th - May 3rd 2009. It will be up on the contest calendar as soon as more details are worked out.

Right on dave, thats what we were hoping. Everyone can road trip their way up here after DS. Weve applied for a permit to race Lookout Mtn. Been trying to keep it quiet until we know for sure about the permit, but things look good.'Gary Fluitt is helping us get the permit. The county has been very helpful and I think we'll get it. We asked for two days, on the top mile of course. Have you ever ridden it? It will ba SICK race!
also, Ive got some ideas for some winter outlaws that are on roads halfway between us, maybe a four corners series?.... either way Ill se you at DS 09'!

We are also thinking about having a downhill race the weekend before DS. it will be in the santa fe area, and it will be fully legit.
is your race going to be legit or outlaw? can you say where or approx. where?
thanks for checking the dates, hope you guys can make it down this year.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwV1CT_rDp4 this hill has 70mph potential.just need to get it closed off to traffic for 10 minutes.
US Hill. 8+ miles speeds in the low 60s on the top section and high 40s for the bottom section.
you can kinda see the grade of the hill here.

I am off to Vegas and perhaps NM.
atn: Lehm, Palmer, Ricker, Price, David Ag!, Chris Miller, etc etc
It will cost $200 round trip from Vegas to Espanola to ABQ to LA. If there are any New Mexico locals that need any work done, like auto mechanical/body, construction, demolition, janitorial, landscaping, gardening, clipping, debt collection, problem solving, teaching/tutoring (hs math, science,English, etc), etc. I can use a few days work. to make this 2nd leg of my trip happen.
i won't be on a computer again until late this week.

Hey Joe, would you be interested in throwing a downhill race in CO or New Mexico? It would be great to hold a big race in our region, it seems like there is enough interest and sponsors..it would be great to see something happen.

got to thalgau tuesday night, rain nonstop....and i came down with a cold after to much partying at almabtrieb...despite that rode in the rain all afternoon yesterday...today rode in the wet in the morning then it dryed out. soo ya i´m stoked i took my rain wheels and trucks with me...they sure are grippy in the wet but quite slow. we got 3 freeride runs in then started qualifying only to cancel it due to a wet track. the road is really fun! non super technical, 3 sweeper corners, 2 rights and a left. max speed about 55-60mph, definetly the fastest race course i,ve been on. tomorrow weather is looking better, so we will qualify then. TSR in europe....over and out...

Top 16, that's awesome, at this rate you'll finish top 8 at the Rock'n'Roll Race. I have yet to see you in any pictures though, so you must be just off the poparazzi radar screen. Get ON IT!! Billy won the Sully challenge riding TSR gloves, Jim Z took 2nd.
Danny Connor is skating more than you were before you left. He's dropping the half pipe and grinding both ways, rock 'n ' rolls, front side airs and then hittin hills with us between going to head bangin concerts with EP and the lake with Palmer.
Get your ass on the podium so we can throw you a party when you return, other wise you can do Olivers next lesson.....WHAT'S THAT????

almabtrieb started yesterdaz. EPIC. i though the talent level was high in france, here it is off the charts, 149 stand up riders, and the qualifying cut is 64. OUCH! yesterday was a sic day of freeriding, lots of runs, by the end of the day no footbraking into the left right combo, just predrifting then hooking back up in the corner. today it is raining, so we drove into town to find a internet cafe. beer here is great and cheaper than water.

Pavement as creamy as...cream. Really just beautiful roads with turns and cars and hot chix! Dave see you in Thalgau. Brunson, how you getting to Maryhill? DC, you into sk8ing in CO?

this town is crawy...sketchball at night. spent all day yesterdqy chillin at the beach, skating the bowl and watching the old skool park slalom event. today we are tourists. it is nice and warm here, leaving for almabtrieb tomorrow on the tgv.
i ended up getting 21st at peyragudes, so i,m stoked given the insanly high talent level at all the races...only bummer was the constant rain on the last day...packing up a wet tent sucks...over and out!
