Hey, Is the DVD from last year going to be distrubuted at this years event? Inquiring and stoked minds want to know, Thanks - Paul
EVAN ST CLAIR - I'm probably going to rent a car. I land in Charlotte sometime between 5pm and 7pm Friday as I remember(I'm at work and I don't have my itiniarary in front of me) and am staying Sunday night at the Best Western(?) right by the airport in Charlotte. Should I bum a ride(s) with you or continue with the car rental(don't you have a carload with kids that are racing too?)? Let me know either way(Don't overdo-it on my account, I know how a car with racers and boards fills up fast).
Adios-Paul

I drove that miserable hobo all over NC at last year's Dixie Cup and can state with authority that the man is fine travelling company. He's no cheapskate, either. He was tryin' to pay for all my crack n' hookers.
I may make a banzai road trip to the 'cup this year as a helper/coneheader/eater/drinker, and to fly RC planes at Hobby Park if I drive a car down rather than a motorbike. 450 odd miles is a big day on a GSXR600...

Hey Evan, Supposedly Scott and Josh are coming to the Dixie Cup, at least Josh says he's coming, Scott is noncommunacado lately due to too many decks to make or something. They're both on the signup list, or at least they were last time I looked. Adios-P

Proposed 2007 World's during school year

Marion, Hope you're having a great summer with those long daylight hours to be a kid again! I know I am. This may be premature, but I just wanted to throw out a request that if DHB gets to host the 2007 World's (which it sounds like DHB would do an awesome job!) that it not be scheduled during the tradtional school year. I would most likely not be able to attend (I teach), and many students in the US and Europe, may not be able to attend. I am pulling some major strings just to get 1 day off to go to the La Costa race this year. Maybe during early August a week before or after the Farm and before the Longmont race.***
I know that some people like to see a sequence of big-to-bigger races during the year, but there are no qualifications to go, and we aren't on TV...yet. For most people it won't matter if the Nationals or World's comes first. Most people will train and try just as hard either way.
***This E-mail is NOT intended to offend any race promoters*** Thank you, Art

Hey Evan, I just might take you up on your offer if needed. Hopefully I won't have to be the cheapskate I was last year, but then again I was able to annoy Mollica with my cheapskateness last year so that alone almost makes it worth repeating. I'll talk to the "Boss" ScottyBobSonic about coming to "The Cup" but I think he showed up to the Buckeye only because he was doing a trip already to Minnisota or Wisconsin to see family and I know he's not busting with $, we'll see though, he's a fun guy to hang out with(Severin's a fun kid too).
Marion- I'll try to remember to do the signup but if I'm a bonehead and forget, count me in anyway. Thanks-Paul
