Just received my Bahne Blackhill complete from Daddies. It got to Ohio in two days! Great phone support. They really love and know slalom. If you're starting out in slalom (or re-starting like me), the Bahne complete is a sweet deal. I weigh 145lb, and I think the 6-ply would be better. The 7-ply (which is what I got) is probably better for people over 155lb. Give them a shot, I was very happy with everything.

Dave at Sk8supply.com has a great selection of old school boards and longboards he's on Garnett ave in Pacific Beach.
also the headquarters for G&S FibreFlex. Dave has one of the best collections of old skateboards around and lots are in his shop.

Melanie and Dan came through quick as a flash when I wanted some new Seismic metal trucks. Sent them an email on Monday and the trucks were hand-delivered to our Thursday night practice session.
I don't know if this is a regular service they offer, or something special because I'm such a nice guy ....?

Nice little shop. Really good stock of longboards and my favorite iPath shoes. Jay (the owner) is friendly and asked a lot of question about slalom. If you happen to be in the northampton area, go check it out. "I highly reccomend it"-Ferris Bueller's Day off.

I'm getting ready to move to Gallipolis, OH which is fairly close to each of the cities above. Does anyone know of a longboard-friendly shop in those areas? I have no problems with online shopping, but I still like to walk in and browse stuff.
