Lush "slide" DVD Distribution
On 12/7/2004 Ross wrote in from United Kingdom  (81.134.nnn.nnn)

We have just finished the first run of the new "slide" DVD from Lush Longboards in the UK, should be ready in under a week now. Not knowing much about the US DVD market, I am looking for a US distributor to get this out to the American public. Can anybody reccomend any good companies we should get in touch with? Thanks in advance,

Ross

Happy Holidays to Lizzie and the crew at Purple Skunk from all of us up in Calgary at Red Nik. We had a great year and had some refferals from Lizzie. Great to have cross relations in the industry like this.

Just wanted to put in another plug for this on-line skateshop. I just bought a bunch of things, Tracker trucks, Kryptonics wheels, riser pads, Tracker bushings, etc. Great prices on everything and free shipping on orders over $75 which is a great deal. Anyway, I received everything quickly (shipped Priority across the country to New Hampshire) and nicely packaged. Dealing with Mike was great too.

I just received my third order yesterday and as usual, everything was perfect.
I live in France, so I could be worried about the shipping, but I am not because I know Patty and Lizzie do their best. Shipping does not exceed 5 days :)
Purple skunk's team is great, it's people you can trust.

Judging from the bountiful supply of top notch reviews for Purple Skunk I suppose that my last post might have been a little redundant, alas I still recommend it.

John's visit to SF
On 9/10/2004 Eric T. wrote in from United States  (198.189.nnn.nnn)

John, trust me, all your longboard needs can be met at the Purple Skunk on Geary St. in SF. Demo boards galore, lots in stock, cool people behind the counter all in one convenient stop. I have spent quadruple digits of cash there since I discovered them last year. No one else around even comes close for a longboard junkies fix. Trust me!

On 9/10/2004 rj wrote in from United States  (63.173.nnn.nnn)

Yeah i can make any deck you want out of anything you want. All i need is a drawing and i go from there. The boards page is still being designed. I am trying to incorporate a cad applet into the page along with the new run of decks that is now 3 weeks over due from my supplier. If you would like pictures please email me and i will be happy to send you some of my standard shapes. Lets hope next week everything is up and running. Thanks.

SF Bay Area Skate Shops
On 9/7/2004 John wrote in from United States  (205.188.nnn.nnn)

I'm going to be visiting the Bay Area next week. I would like to check out some well stocked longboard shops. I'd like to buy some new stuff. Since I live in Chicagoland, we have no shops that carry any significant variety of equipt. It would be a bonus if the shop had demos that allow you to try some setups on site before you buy. I will have a car so I can get to several locations in the greater SF area. I am also planning to be in Berkeley and going south to Palo Alto and Santa Cruz. Thanks for your help!
