Org: NorCal (540 Posts) Topic Post Dinosaur Point a bust now Thanks!!!! $%^#)&^ On 9/11/2006 Mark Johnson wrote in from (75.7.nnn.nnn) Such a bummer: we found that hill in 1998 and the cops use to wave to us an say have a good time and be safe. I have been there two or three times in the last year and every time there is a ranger there ready to give you a ticket if not worse, a ride down to the pokey in the middle of now were. Another great spot that has been ruined by stupid greedy people trying to make money. I wont mention names, It is sad to say but you have to keep the sk8 spots to your self or they wont be there to ride the next day.. keep it to your self. If someone invites you out to a special spot don’t be an idiot and ruin it for everyone. On a happier note, the pool out there was killer, a little hot but what a pool. 8-10 feet deep super smooth, big transitions and lots off vert and nice copping. The best part was it was not a bust!!!! we had a blast. I will be heading down to La costa this week to race slalom and hopfully surf, so no rides this week, when i get back i will set up a ride in San Jose PS don’t ask were the pool is MJ     Rate post 247085 ! The pavement is great and the hill is fast (for slalom) There are always extra boards to ride and people to help you out if you are new to the sport. Sometimes we even have a timer on the hill. Go straight down Stevens creek East until you hit the foothills (buy the way there are all sorts of roads in fremont) ( try going 280 to 680 to alum rock it's faster.) Look for a road called Sunset steep steep road. Look on a map for exact directions, that should get you there. If you have a chance and you take Drugs or not we will be riding some were in San Jose soon. We will not be taking drug test, but we will test your drugs. Be safe and sane MJ     Rate post 245828 ! We know he's at least pregnant with fanciful ideas -- including an elderly Nancy R. doing doubles with him in the Upland combi bowl. (don't want people falling all over the road). Pads and helmet are definitely encouraged. Women are encouraged to skate too-- Cat was doing well at the Sept. 3rd session and she would like to see other women get into slalom.
