I recently bought a plank skateboard. These skates blow my mind they are make of hardwoods which have incredable grains and natural colors. I have never seen a skate like it. Check out the web sight! www.plankskateboards.com

If your referring to the deck below....no. Its made in Cornwall, at the very west of England....as close to the US you can get in mainland England I guess.
Why?
Many fine decks are made in Europe, Pavel, Indiana, Airflow...Wefunk. Turner. (yep!) I think the balance of trade between all the US stuff we buy could possibly justify a few decks going the other way dontcha fink?

Great fun testing prototype 3 on my birthday, almost finished and ready for rollout. Stiff, LIGHT, strong and most importantly, fast. Modeled by Tristan, wheels by Abecc 11, Zig Zag HARDs 89 front, Zig Zag 86's rear, Radikal Trucks.

From deep within the UKs surf country way in the west the skunkworks has been working overtime....out of the mould this morning the latest and lightest deck yet. Carbon Fibre, foam, inserts for the bolts. Race Winning construction (the 2nd prototype was raced this weekend). Concave, camber and kick/stomp rear.
The lightest board Ive seen.

ja s9's do kinda gt a bad rap... my 1st deck was a cloud nine nineball and i ended up taking a jigsaw 2 it to make a drop speedboard, which i wish i hadn't done now. s9 doesn't have any particularly unique stuff, nor do they really cater to serious downhill or slalom riders. i think that because they're cheap and easy to get there's a lot of longboard 'posers' if you will on them, so that gives them a worse rap. once you've been in the sport awhile you start to desire something more unique. overall, i think they're good and fun boards, but the main reason i will never ride one is because some of the people that run the company seem like real as*holes. s9's reps totall blew off silverfishlongboarding.com, and seem to be more about the money than the sport, so fu*k em'.

I've noticed a lot of folks dumping on Sector Nine decks....why is that? I currently have three, and not a single complaint about any. My wife just bought me a Phoenix deck, that thing is f....ng great! I'm not a bomber, I pretty much use my board for carving and flatland streetstyle....it practically kickflips itself, so responsive. Anyway, to each their own. I just want to give them a recommendation b/c I think they're great boards

I ride a gravity Carve 39 and I love this board. The only disadvantage i see, is that the cutouts are made for conventional trucks and do not fit for Randals with their shorter wheelbase. So I grinded some matching wheel wells for the Randals. (Unfortionally I changed back to Indys to ride the board in the park ...)

Hey dudes..
I just have a question for you old guys out there.. My really first board was a G&S Warptail..but I remember it to be longer than the reissue I´ve seen..
Were there two sizes of that board..or is it just me..growing big?
I would like to set up a board just like the first one I had with ACS trucks and red krypto 70mm´s..but if the reissue really is shorter..It makes no sense to me.
Could you face me with some facts?

Gravity's wheels are made by Kryptonics. They arnt bad at all. Sure, there are Abec11's but these will cost more. You pay yer money, you take yer choice. The Gravity wheels sell well in the UK as they represent excellent value.
Gravity use Tracker and Randal trucks, both good choices.
The decks are well made and have some great features and graphics. In my opinion the completes represent good value, and the decks are good enough to be sold seperately (Which they do), which is not something that can be said about many companies that supply mainly completes to stores.
Sure, you can get all the components off the shelf to build a custom complete, but not for the money a Gravity complete would cost in most cases.
Flow IS a great DVD. bear in mind they are using Gravity products, then jump to your own conclusions!

If you got the tippys you need to check your bushings! Luca G has the highest setup board known to man and you dont see him flopping off of a course! Some boards dont feel good standing on them, its all about full speed when you need reaction and stabillity.
