Our new DVD is out! go to http://www.timeshipracing.com/dvds.htm
Enter the world of downhill skateboard racing on the most challenging road ever raced! In 2006 TimeShip Racing hosted the North American Speed Board Championships at the Maryhill Loops, along the Columbia River Gorge in eastern WA. This amazing course has speeds near 50 mph, 22 turns in 2.2 miles, many of them are banked and hairpin and seem made for racing. This unique road is actually a Museum Piece, preserved as the first paved road in the Pacific Northwest. The well placed overlooks make it possible to see nearly the entire race which is highly unusual and makes for very exciting viewing.
Speed Boarding, as it is known to racers, has been quietly growing world wide. This race was a chance for 75 of the best racers from the US and Canada to battle it out in 4 man heats for the title of Champion. Filmed by racers, there is plenty of exciting head to head racing, drafting, crazy crashes, unique insights and a surprise ending. Downhill skateboard racing has been around since the 1970’s, but it didn’t look anything like this! This is the most complete race film ever made exploring this elite form of skateboarding that has no major sponsors, shoe contracts or real prize money. It was shot on location June 24th and 25th 2006 and edited at Capital Video in Santa Fe, NM where TimeShip Racing is based. Directed and Produced by Joe Lehm. TRT is 40 minutes.
Here's a 2 minute trailer to wet your touge:

I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of the following wheels:
78x50mm Seismic Blast Waves clear orange 75A - super popular, and back in stock! white 79A - back in stock, now with bright blue cores! purple 83A - NEW!
69x52mm Seismic Hot Spots bright orange 84A - NEW! (along with translucent sky blue 76A, bright white 80A, green 83A and yellow 86A)
(The above photo does not do it justice; the orange is actually brighter and more vivid!)
62x45mm 3dm Cambrias classic "Road Rider" red 80A - back in stock! translucent sky blue 80A - NEW! clear orange 80A - NEW! (along with white 84A)
...plus all the Avalons, Avilas, 77mm Speed Vents, and 85mm Speed Vents you've come to know and love.
In addition, all of our high-performance trucks models will back in stock by August 1, along with green slalom cones. (We recently ran low on 45-degree 180s, 30-degree 105s, and green cones.) Look for our new line of high-performance longboard decks and completes coming soon, too.
Finally, please note that I (Seismic founder/owner Dan Gesmer) depart on August 12 for a five-month adventure performing with Cirque du Soleil. (Ten weeks in Montreal, eleven weeks in New York). Staff in Boulder will pack and ship orders during this period, while I manage sales via email and phone.
I would, however, prefer to see all of you well-stocked before I leave. So please, order generously by the week of August 6!
All available products can be viewed on our webshop at www.geoskate.com, and just ask if you need an updated pricesheet.
P.S. On June 29th, the Boulder Daily Camera newspaper ran the following story about my contract with Cirque du Soleil, with some nice quotes from Stacy Peralta: http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2007/jun/28/variety-cirque-taps-local-skateboarder

hey herbn do you have any gumballs in stock? I need a new pair for munnsville and probably shouldn't have waited so long before running down there. what's your stores phone #? over a gate hill a while back and got up to 53mph. I was disappointed though because my trucks were just a bit too far over the twitchy side for me to tuck harder, couldn't fix them cuz I forgot my skate tool at my house, POOP! anyway I'll try to get over to the shop this week to pick up some new wheels.

The Slalom deck is a model I helped develop with Gecko in the UK. Gecko Headgear Click here for linkwho make helmets for the emergency servcies and sports and Jeff Sacree the owner developed a line of skateboards including the slalom model. His webiste in being updated at present but can I suggest you email him for further details. The decks are EXTREMELY light and I have used my deck for two years now for tight and hybrid. It has the kick tail rear too. Torsionnally rigid.
They can make custom shapes too.
