Congrats Coach on getting a Pavel Signature Board!!!

Turning has never felt so good! New And Improved GOGs!
On 5/12/2009 Cat wrote in from United States  (67.117.nnn.nnn)

Taking pre-orders. Shoot me an e-mail with questions.

Both trucks have the same height now so the bases are interchangeable.
The Mitchell Racer X is the same height as the Ramon Foxy truck.
Also, the hex bolt is inserted in a recessed area so you ONLY need a ratchet to change the truck settings....... much easier!!!!

ettsexett vs rads price
On 4/28/2009 Brady wrote in from United States  (70.156.nnn.nnn)

They may give Rad a good run for the money at that price, if they're going to be avail in the states.

I don't think so. Rads are $350 a set while the Etts are 350 euros. ($459.37 US)

They may give Rad a good run for the money at that price, if they're going to be avail in the states

On another note, GOG....Virage.....161..... how come all the new trucks are coming out of Europe?...there hasnt been a new race truck from the states since the Splitfire

Kingpin
On 4/19/2009 Marcus wrote in from Sweden  (85.225.nnn.nnn)

But of course you are correct. The Kingpin is one piece and has a small radius where it goes from beefy to 10mm (where the bushing sit) all in order to be stronger. In the bottom there is a 6mm hex key hole and you screw it in with loctite and there it should stay. Since the hanger is removable without removing the kingpin you can change bushings easialy and there is no need to change the kingpin unless it breaks or bends, and IF that happens well then you need to remove the truck from the board (actually on the front truck you could remove it without removing the truck).

I'm glad you liked the photos, Fabian took them in his kitchen.

As soon as I can afford a set I will buy one and update my profile, I've heard they are smoking fast!

Kingpins
On 4/18/2009 JBH wrote in from United States  (70.242.nnn.nnn)

David O, it appears the kingpin is one piece that screws into the baseplate. Check the "other" photo from the link Marcus posted.

Very slick photos, Marcus. Too bad the trucks themselves are so shabby looking.

KIDDING!!! :-)

P.S. Now you'd better update the "Setup" section of your rider profile.

161 slalom trucks
On 4/18/2009 David O wrote in from United Kingdom  (91.107.nnn.nnn)

I like the trucks but how do you keep the kingpins in . There does not appear to be a hexagonal socket at the top of the kingpin or a 'nut'. How do you tighten them down when in use?

New slalom cones.
On 4/1/2009 Octane Sport wrote in from United Kingdom  (87.114.nnn.nnn)

After working on these for the winter we have finally developed our 'Octane' cones. Each cone is placed on a small lightweight motorised chassis, and using wireless technology can be placed into pre-programmed courses on any bluetooth enabled laptop. features include, automatic cone placement, (just place on ground, and then they will roll to allocated positions). When the race is over just press 'control' 'alt' 'return' and they will roll back to the position of the laptop, or any other point. Ideal for end of day, or storms.

The dual lane system automatically sets the cones to any width apart.

The ability to save favourite courses and swap courses is already enabled.

We have the software ready for testing, and for today only we will be happy to supply that and 25 test cones for the first 5 people to email me.
