Freestyle died 20 years ago. The only ones still doing it are those who are too scared to drop in a bowl or bomb a downhill.
Freestyle is the Herpes of the skateboard industry.

Freestyle events:

10:00am: Freestyle AmJam-15 minute heats of 6 skaters in battle zone rotation.

11:00am: High Jump Record Challenge

1:00pm: Freestyle Ol’ School- Masters Jam 40 and Over plus 360’s spin off.

1:30pm: Freestyle Advanced/Sponsored- Two runs of 2 minutes each.
Own music optional.

3:00pm: Flatland/Freestyle Ultimate- No rules Game-of-Sk8.

Check out the insight151.com website! There is the best freestyle rider in the world named Mike Heller. This guy is amazing and skates exactly like Mullen and is so much better than any other freestylers I've seen!

Purple Skunk SK8 Jam Sunday Feb. 19

SK8KINGS are in San Francisco and the Jam is tomorrow. Having a great time and it is COLD up here. Have been getting some rain in the city but the weather report for Sunday says slight chance of rain in the early morning but should clear after that. We should be skating so be sure to come out!
