Floyds just told me thats not him.at the Southbank. However we have photos of him which we will hold to ransom. I think it might actually be Dobie. Now I wonder what that deck in the pictures worth?

Looks like Floyd Reed and Paul Price did well in the open classes at Catalina. To those that dont know the name Floyd, he's a ex South Bank Boy (London spot) who moved to LA from New Cross. Good move! Paul is often referred to as being Australian, but he's from Neasden, London. Must be his fondness for Barbies. (yep... the dolls)

To post pictures read 'posting guidlines' on the homepage, it tells you what to do there. Heres a tip though, set up a photoarchive through www.baypal.com, this takes you through to inkfrog.com . By putting pictures up on this host all you need do is click the ? tab and it gives you the full html coding for you to copy/paste. The advantage of using this method is that your own websites visitor figures/stats wont be linked to every viewer of NCDSA.
You can upload 6 piccies there. Easy.

Congratulations FFF on the news of your forthcoming child. Just lets pray it has the looks of its mother!
I also believe that the cracks on the bottom of those things cause far more damage than a Turner!
Well done again, your chum, Michael

If anyone wants I will be there.

Skatercull
On 4/19/2002 Stevie B wrote in from (213.122.nnn.nnn)

The object of skatercross is to see how many skaters you can injure before you die, think Rollerball at high speed the nearer you get to the front the more people land on top of you when you slam.
Has its roots in the tag/follow the leader type games of legendary british skateparks(Rom,Harrow,Rolling Thunder) when the locals used to send the groms home in tears.
come to think of it I'm surprised its not on the x games a sort of mass luge with ramps
Pad up like a fruit booter and dont for godsake use your Turner.

axles
On 4/19/2002 longy wrote in from (194.117.nnn.nnn)

methinks axle to axle measurements is the definitive measure as it negates offset truck axle advantages....although saying that do offset axles line up with the rear bolt holes.....is this beginning to sound like the slalom forum?

Skatercross, its simple....you race, you die. I believe that in order to compete in Swiss races you must wear grey or brown socks. Its the law.

Damn can't make it to sheffield that weekend we're booked to work that Sunday and can't get out of it. Ahh the joys of running a shop. But if you have any promo stuff you need distributing in London send it to the bike shop and we'll send you all the people who couldn't make it last time.
Till the next one.

Summer Session #1
On 4/18/2002 Lush Longboards wrote in from (195.92.nnn.nnn)

I'd just like to stress that the weekend of 11/12 May, Summer Session #1, will be totally devoid of rules and regulations, apart from the strict "no helmet no lift" policy.

For the folk who just want to slalom we'll find location(s), but that weekend us lot at Lush will be guiding the hoards of longboarders round the hills. No doubt at some point the cones will be brought out for a general slalom play. A lot of longboarders don't know much about the curvy little sister of their sport, so it's another opportunity to plug it.
