that sucks about the ramp, that was defiantely a landmark and one of the things that made the madly insane race weekend that much better. Jeff and his wife rule, but unfortunatly the world is run by red tape loving, non skating bastards...MIKE LOWRIE FOR PRESIDENT...A pool in every backyard and a ditch down every hill

Nice page. Glad you guy's had fun. The only thing wrong is who in the hell is Frank? Jeff Shalakee has the ramp in his back yard, He fully deserves the props. Bad news is that the city is making us tear down the ramp, he went to a meeting the following tues. and got shut down, they said it is to tall, and to close to the house. They also complained about the huge party they had there (after the race). Oh well such is life. COME TO THE BEAR! COME TO THE BEAR! You think indian school was gnarly, wait till you see the bear!

i am trying to get my logistics down for the bear banked slalom race at the end of may. i know it is a little early to be planning these things, but i need to buy tickets soon if that is what i am going to do.
i am looking for someone to share a ride from socal. i am going out there to surf for a week and visit my girlfriends family. she is planning on driving back to salt lake and not new mexico with her sister who is attending UCLA. i was considering taking the train from LA, but that is going to get into ABQ at 12:30 am, and if i am couch surfing there, i don't want to get in too late and make a problem of myself.
anyone driving from SoCal to the bear, i would love to hook up and share the ride and gas and beer. email me or post here to let me know. thanks.

Wait a minute...Lowrie is a seasoned Coors OG, I don't understand what could have made him switch, not $$$ since he has all he needs. Maybe that slam rattled more than just his thirst. Hit Rio Bravo yet? Got Team? Sign up soon, Dread and BQ and Dane are going to give us a run for our $$$...and Pabst.

Hey Lowrie, Sorry to see that the Ditch Witch bit you. I hope you didn't stick to the sheets too bad the next morning.
By the way, I've got some 9" trucks that might go better on that Bozi PinBomber than those Randals. Let me know if you're interested, you get the local discount.

These might feel better in a course like at Indian School on that particular board. I'll even let you try them for a while before you decide. Let me know.

Hey Lowrie, since you're crippled up, just head out to Rio Bravo and start refining your tuck for next months race. Skip the ditches, bomb that hill!! Drag CW out there, and get Ryan out of those pools in El Paso! I'll see you over at Speedboarding 'til then,

Anyone know of ditches in Northern New Jersey?

Yea We used to skate the Rt. 78 ditch about 12 years ago. It's probably still there. It's fast and tight with some parking blocks and coping in some spots. I can't remember what road you take to get there, but you park in a dirt parking lot and hike thru the woods for a quarter mile. You can email me and I will give some guys emails who can tell you where it's at since I don't live in NJ no more.
