What's Happening?!? Yea......... I got the best ditch in the bay!, and you don't know where it is! But if you got a strong back and a shovel I would'ent mind showing you where it is, if you want to do some cleaning this weekend. I got atleast 3 guys including myself gonna be there Saturday and Sunday but we could use some more help to do some cleaning. One pile in the flat and cleaning off the tops of the walls. This ditch is tight! 5' walls, 3' flat, skate park transitions! Lip to lip with ease! some rough areas but still the best! Better than Chesbro, Uvas, Morgan Hill! And nothing like any of them. Check out some Pic's. on SFLONGBOADING.com ICE

I am in Vegas this week at a conference and I am looking to blow off at least one day skating(probably some mornings and evenings as well). This week its supposed to be in the 80's mid-week so it should be on.I know where a couple ditches are and just driving around found another and some trippy banks. Anyone around want to go hit some of this stuff with me? Email me if you do. Later, Dan

K-Lee has me pinned, I'm totally wrong!! It's some Bozi block or Seismic sensitivity reaction. Of course you were there, and of course you ride it more than Sharon, Palmer and Casey put together. I guess that for some reason I tend to see you as TimeShip Science officer first and hardcore skater second. Try this tactic at the next race so that I'll remember you. Beat me. Oh yeah, you just did that in the Crosstown race! I wonder why I can't remember anything, must be too many safety checks when we skate. I'm sure I could learn to spell my name in Cherry Bomb red if it wasn't so hard to spell. Joe. Yours might be easier. K-Lee. Thanks for keeping me honest, and for running cones last week. See you on the Podium!!

Can anyone tell me what Chesbro Dam Ditch is like?
I know where it is (thanks GlobeExplorer & Ditch Directory) but not much else about it.
Was thinking about trying to hit it up soon. Is it rough or smooth? WHat duro wheels should I bring? anything else to know?

EP and I had a session set up last week, but he bailed on me for his mama's scalloped 'taters (can't blame him). Some times you just gotta fly solo... Me and the rodents.
K-Lee - Be there Sat afternoon 2:30 ish and run it with PALMER9 and me.
PALMER - My pool will be ready manana. Unfortunately only to swim in.... (what fun is THAT!)

"Only GBM, Sharon and I ride it with any regularity,"
Whoa, Joe, are you serious? If so, you're saying that Sharon rides the Bear more than I do? I took our new friend Paul out there 2 weeks ago to get his first runs in. I show up there 99% of the times that I know you are there. Have you, GBM, and Sharon been having secret training sessions without me? Is this why I can't ever get into the top ten on race day? BTW, Sharon wasn't even there the day I gave you the idea to tag your name in Cherry Bomb red, remember? She skates in other regions of the world more often than the Bear.

I love dropping in on the opposite side, I wanted to put the roll in there, the only reason dub and i didn't is because you (G.i. Joe) didn't want it there. That and carrying those bags of concrete in and acoss that ditch SUCKED! I never podium, I don't suppose I will this year either. who cares? I'm out there having fun, bitchin, callin you kooks out who post anonymously. It's all a good time, you racers just make it way to serious to have that much fun. He hit a cone, he missed that one, you jumped the gun, my helmet wasn't buckled, that's whinning, nit picking, B.S.! did you start sk8in because you wanted to be better than everyone else? did you start sk8in to be a part of a team? I didn't think so, you all want to take it back to the roots, but you cry about every little thing. The first time you jumped a fence to a crappy pool, did you say "damn those trannies are to tight" and walk away?
C.P. Hell Yeah see you there!
oh yeah, that little spec., across from George, is me standing there.

Second Day Race

The sunday race will either be a Super GS at the Airport ( permit PENDING!) or a hybrid Banked GS held at Concussion ditch. As for "Running the Bear all year long" Who are you kidding? Only GBM, Sharon and I ride it with any regularity, and I spend most of my time sliding it up trying to see if I can write my name in Cherry Bomb red. Most of the other locals only ride the Bear when I put on the race. Palmer of course NEVER practices racing, running cones or sliding. Again, I predict that Gary Fluitt and I will be on the podium this year, and Hackett will have to hand us each a Bear Slayer in recognition. Lowrie, did you try running it switch yet?

Hey Joe - Y'know we have a course already marked at Carmel, if you wanna run a second day event after the Bear. (it's about half a mile long, with a good take off and long runout...)
