Palmer you think high 16's in flip flop's huh? I'll second the flippin and floppin, but not the 16's. Good f'n luck! K-Lee NO! Bottled water just isn't the same! Beers, bowls, and bails! Stubb's I hope you didn't send it to our house with the pool, Our snail lady is worthless, but I will appreciate your package 3 weeks l8r when we get it. GBM, you'll need more than leathers and a new bionic shoulder, better go practice everyday, Like timeship wants you too! How's that for a little amp. see you guys at the bottom, hopefully not looking up. hehehehehehehehehehehe L8 lowrie

Is the NUGZ team gonna show up in leopard-skin thongs? Tony???

Nate Dog, Ditch skating is what it is ALL about! Thanks for the compliment.
Palmer, What wheels are you gonna run? I'm thinking Gumballs to minimize drift around that second cone. Sh!t talk? I bet I could run the course in flip flops!!! No beer though, can it be bottled water instead?

My good buddy and the NorCal representative of the Ditch Hunter Brotherhood, Dano, just got back from a business trip to Las Vegas, NV. To see some pics of the killer terrain he found out there, go to Ditches are Deadly, Stay Away! : the Online Ditch Directory and scroll down to the Nevada section, look for the NEW! tags.
I gotta skate Wallos-in-the-Desert before I die!!

joe, the only reason i ask about the courses is so i can practice. The dots are still on the road from last time so i figured i could go and see if i can even do this. i am not ragging on the courses you design, just trying to be at my best come sunday. all this stuff is sort of new to me and i can use all the practice i can get. i am sure everyone has as much confidence in you as i have and i am sure the course will be challenging as well as fun.
can i still borrow your skater dater vid?

Sunday the 30th is going to be a fast GS at the Airport Hill. I'm meeting with the City Permit People and hoping that they weren't at the Rio Bravo event. Why does everyone want to know if I'm going to set the same course, no matter the venue? Is that 'cause my courses are too easy? How about I change Sandia too, maybe start a few miles further up? Some courses set themselves like the Bear, but Giant Slalom on a 35mph hill, I'm sure I can work with that to make it harder, scarier and even more fun! No Practice until that morning. Concussion is hidden at Tramway and San Bernadino.

Last i heard, Sunday the 30th was going to be Airport GS permits pending or @ concussion ditch. i was just wondering about the status of the permit(s) and if the course will be the same as the Sandia Classic last year. if the course will be different, when will you be setting it up, Joe?
By the way, where is concussion anyway?

My wife and daughter(5) came home last week after running some errands. They had stopped at Macdonald's and my daughter had a kid's meal, and a toy was included. It's a hand-held video thingy about ditch skating, complete with vegetation in the cracks and a bit of water! The idea is to dodge sewer lids and fire hydrants(?) while surfing the sides of this ditch. A picture of Tony Hawk airbourne is on the cover. Anybody else seen these?
