K-lee, I was skating at Montgomery Park the day before my stuff got stolen and there was about 20 people sitting in the park in a circle smoking pot. So maybe they saw me and the next day when they saw me, they decided to hassle me. The whole time they hassled me they were talking about "smoking buds" so it sort of makes sense.

Yeaaaaaaaah!! Brower Wireless kicks A$$!
George, Assets Bar and Grille is no longer open on Sundays, please help me to find the 'right' place for our awards etc. Paying for beer by the pitcher is NOT an option for our rowdy bunch!! Hamm, don't bother tweaking your equipment, just bring a HUGE quiver.....you'll need it.

Hamm; The Indian School race this year will be longer (unless we have another "antifreeze incident") than last years. The course will probably be a bit more technical but just as fast. We will have a real timing system.
We will start from the same spot.
Expect a few curve-balls like jump ramps and hippy jumps.
Just Kidding. More info to come.

Hey K-Lee,
Maybe we ought to run the next RB ditch race on the day after the Bear race? There'll probably still be folks in town from the weekend of madness, and Monday is a holiday. Can't have too many ditch races, it's not possible.
RBBS is about a 1/2 mile and works on any board depending on your insanity, most run it on a GS setup, 70mm wheels Manx or Grippins, if the wind is up speeds are incredible.

Hey George, Joe and/or Palmer,
Its getting closer, drop some knowledge on us. How will the IS course compare to last year? We need to start tweaking our gear. Will the course be as long?Spacing be similar? Party @ Palmers? Wax bringing the PBR? I'm really hoping to make it. Last year was one of best skate weekends ever.
INDIAN SCHOOL PHUCKING RULES and I think about her all the time.

RBBS - Since we were rained/snowed/hailed out last Sunday, and since most racers will be out of town the next two Sundays (to Colorado, am I correct?), it looks like we won't be having an official RBBS race this month, unless someone had their heart on banked slalom this month, then let me know and we'll try to hold a race, weather permitting. If we do decide to hold a race, which day would be best? The 17th or the 24th?
Montgomery Park - Am I the only one from ABQ that listens to 770 KKOB in the mornings? They've been having a recurring topic regarding all the POT SMOKING going on in Montgomery Park (not to mention other parks around town)and how it's linked to juvenile crime. Maybe the potheads stole Andy's board to buy more dope! The most convincing evidence is the caller that stated on air that "It's because of metal music, that's why our youth are corrupt!" I guess he's never heard of Snoop Dogg. Anyway, regardless of those a-holes' drug of choice, anyone that steals skate equipment deserves a beat-down. Park Patrol is in order, let's bust up the Reefer Madness and stop the dope-driven criminal activity!
Ditch wheels - Statistically speaking, Abec 11 Flywheels have won every single non-Rio Bravo ditch race held in ABQ since I started racing with only ONE exception: Hackett won on Avilas at Harper '03. But, statistics aside, I predict either Strikers or Flywheels to win this year. Duro is anybody's guess, but I'd go with 84a or 88a. But I never win, I just keep track of what those who do were riding on at the time, so my opinion is more of a statistical extrapolation and less of an experiential interpretation. Any other guesses as to which WHEEL will win next month?

Andrew - Gumballs work well at both spots. I think Hack was on 3DMs last year. Go with at least 65mm. Call out K-Lee, he's the tech wizard.

I'm always out there. Jim, let's do it on Sat. A Sunday RRBS race would be way cool. I'd like to mix in a little "real" GS sesh somewhere in there too. Maybe airport hill (if the wind is blowing that way)?
Whatever. You pick it, I'm there.

It was a Duke City Shop Deck with Green and White Thunder Trucks. The trucks had green rims and were pretty loose. I had 56 mm conspricy wheels with the graphic (or what little graphic was on the wheels) turned inside

Thanks everyone for your support. Chris and Palmer, thanks for the offer. I got a new board and shoes in the past 2 days so I'm ok. I wasn't hurt to bad so I'm still skating and enjoying my self. The only thing I need is a pair of radikal trucks for my slalom board and all the pain will go away. Once again, I want to thank everyone for there support and replies. Now I got to go skate, so see ya.
