Which Blood Bowl do you guys know of?...Because theres 2 in Columbus that are both called the same thing...theres one down on Campus of OSU, and theres one in Upper Arlington on the corner of Lane Road and Riverside Drive(Route 33)

Yeah I live on the same street as the Blood Bowl...it has a pretty nice hill to carve down on my way there. Its a pretty fun ditch to skate.

I think I've heard of the shop. I live in Portsmouth: the only skater I know of over 18 and the ONLY longboarder. I've heard good things about Columbus: Dodge, Dublin, Blood Bowl....

I'm also an Ohio skater...but I live in Columbus. I'm the only one around my area that longboards that I know of. There's a skate shop down the street from me that carrys longboard boards and gear...its called Sunsports...ever heard of it?

"new guy dave" not sure where you are headed in ny. but in upstate ny there are a few spots. In syracuse there is the public pool in burnett park that is skateable in the wintertime. Lots of skateable banks all over syracuse, and a secret warehouse spot. Also south of there in ithaca is a free public concrete bowl.

While visiting Chillicothe, OH this weekend, I took a long cruise around downtown waiting for my girlfriend to get off work and stopped in Just North of Daytona "extreme sport" shop. The guy there was cool, but blown away saying that, though he gets catalogs for longboards, he doesn't carry any of them because I'm the first longboarder that's ever been in the shop. He told me to keep skating because it may start a scene there and create the demand (and offered to special order anything I needed). If anyone lives in that neck of the woods (I live 45 minutes from there), we should make our presence known!! The revolution will not be televised!

hey im a 29 year old skateboarder and im going on a road trip up the east coast to about new york looking and skating transitioned terrain and i was wondering if any one here could give some pointers on empty pools or ditches i pretty much have a plan but please e-mail me with some pointers i live on the east coast and am will to trade spot for new spots thanks for the help

Hi Patio,
that is a shame about the site. Tripod is a non-pop-up server tho, they work with banners, so it is strange that that happened. Often times these pop ups are due to spy ware that is hidden in your computer. This spy ware is found in programs such as KAZAA and other media download components.
Search for a program called AD-AWARE. The program clears out all spyware and kills most pop ups. If this doesn't work, sorry. I guess your computer or browser reacts strangely with the site. Let me know if the AD-AWARE stuff works for you. The same thing was happening to me a while back, but AD-AWARE fixed it up.
