hey geoflow, ive found that if i move both Randall 180s forward on the board it rides like a Landyachtz cheif and if i put them far apart it rides too flexy, I was wondering where you suggest the truck placements for the 150s?

Kramer- Try Randal 150's on your pin. I had the same results untill I switched to 150's. She swings around nicely now, and a beauty to boot!

I've got that deck! And freaking love it. Mine is set up w/Indy 166's, rear flat hard plastic riser, front wedged hard plastic riser. Wheels are BDS Shogo softpours. This set-up kicks serious ass for cruising around, riding banks and ditches, carving mild hills and I can even pump flats with it. I've lost count of how many boards I own and this is frequently the 1st thing I grab when I head out for 'general' skate. Mine also has Black Label rails on it.
Not to be picky, but its not a Olson Red Kross, its a Red Kross Olson. Red Kross is a division of Black Label. Check thier other rad shapes here:

wondering the ideal loaded board for a 135lb rider and if anyone has riden the loaded with some slick wheels,.... How well can you handle slides with that... any other good controlled sliding boards people have had a good experience with?

haha funny that you actually mention that, i live near portland and Ive met the shaper for these boards, he deals to local shops all around portland bringing different curve setups to testrun.

Isaiah,I'd say a unique board for that application would be one of those new Curve speedboard decks, Swift 40" i think it's called, Seismic metal 180's, PT 7's, and you can't go wrong with anything from ABEC 11. Hugh doesnt even have a review for this deck yet!... Now that i typed it, I think I want one! heh-

IM a native beaverton Oregon boarder, I ride my 44 GS pintail with 180 RIIs and flashbacks,its a reliable all around board but It cant carve amazingly, or bomb that well wither, Imlooking for something more out there, an unpopular setup thats an aggresive ride and made for an speeds of 35 mph.... post any ideas...

Ryan, you should check out the 42" Blue Label Loaded. Sonnie's got one and he weighs in right at 170 lbs and its perfect for him. I like it as much as my Black and I weigh 150 lbs. It has more power and cranks really hard. Both decks seem to respond best with Randal 180's.
I love the Loaded boards and would like to have one of each. Even though they are rated for your weight, the different lengths and flexes are fun to mix it up with, as they each offer a different ride.

That's about my weight range and I have no trouble with the Loaded Superflex. Whether you go with that or the Black Label, I would go with a 42" It's going to be able to store more kinetic energy and be a better pumper. Talk to the people at www.palermoboards.com and see what they suggest.

Thanks Dave, but I am at the very egde of that weight classification, My weight fluxuates between 165 and 175 if you can believe that. One more ques. on the Loaded, which would be better for me, the 38" or the 42"? I'm 6'0" and run my trucks really loose. My only quarrel with my current Bahne is that while pumping I'm always overpwering the rear wheels- they're the light gray cambria's and dont say the duro. thanks

my supaflex 120....randal´s R II 180´s..switched hanger rear..no risers but my hommade thin shockpads..abec11 gumballs 75a..PT bearings ceramic abec7..
a real killer for carving hard..a board that you wanna take far..in looong hills.. a fave!

If you are not in the fat lane of boarders (170 or lighter) go to palermoboards.com and ask them about their Loaded Superflex. It's 42" and if it can go in the Midwest Flatlands where I be, believe me, it'll sail where you are. Best pumper I've ever tried, esp. with the soft green huge ABEC 11's

ALright guys, I'm fiending a new board, specifically a mid length pumper. maybe 36" to 44". Right now i have:

ok, right now my slalom bahne is my tight machine/flatland pumper/campus commuter. I want a longer pumpable board for people slalom--FLATLAND PUMPING SPEED IS ALL-IMPORTANT TO ME-SOUTH JERSEY IS FLAT. I have been seriously looking into a Loaded vangaurd, but all this talk about the Bozi gs36 has peaked my interest, also how are the comets on flatland? Thanks for any and all responses.

the overall fave: all wood Bozi mbII (Louie from landslideboards still has these) set up with tracker frankentrucks (aggro baseplates, dart 184 hangers and long kingpin for the double stims deal) on thin risers and 78a gumballs.
Today the doc said it was ok for me to do some light workout again, so I went for a short 2 hrs sesh on this new *recovery from surgery accelarator* set up. Even at granny speed I could see that this is *THE* setup. I almost couldn't feel the board, effortlessly flowing like it wasn't there at all, I could trust it 100% without any concerns about corrections or loss of traction...totally amazing. What else can I say that hasn't been said about the mb, it feels like an extension of my feet, the concave is the best ever, it pumps like a bm (bad mutha) etc.
the longboard surfboard "feels like a Takayama model t" simulator: soulcarver 54" roundtail set up with wide exkates and white avalons.
the super trusty "smooth and fast" slider setup: Bozi gs36 set up with the new metal seismics and 84a flashbacks
the "barefoot flatland carving sesh/sidewalk surfer/occasional slider/decent pumper with that 70's flexy feel" set up: sector9 cosmic 1 set up with tracker rts-x, angled risers and either flashback (faster) or avalons (super carves)depending on the mood

I began this madness 4.5 years ago trying to get a longboard deck to hook-up with some old trucks & wheels I had lying around. Hehe...
I like experimenting with lots of combinations, and here are a few of my better rides:
- Kryptonics 44" Resinflex, 180mm RII's with mild R.de-wedge, 83mm75aFlys (a new MBII will probably replace this as my Fav, but not till after G4).
- Roe Ultimate (The deck that got Gilmore off Turner)via TK & Leo, F.Seismic 110mm, R.Indy Offset (via Jack Smith & Geezer X), Dave Hackett's Avalons. This is truely one mixed-history board.
- CYa 34", F.German135mmSeismic, R.Geezer135mmOffset, Avilas.
- AZsupraSM Homemade 37", 129mm RTX/S, 84a/78a Flashbacks.
- BigDaddy USA 47" Pintail, Bakus & Kryptonics 76mm Blues (the key to liking torsion trucks is to space them further apart! This board rocks).
- SoulCarver 47" Custom Notch w/long wheelbase, V-Shockers & 74mm75aFlys.
- Landyachtz UAV, Gullwing 160mm 30deg.Cruisers, 74mm75aFlys.
Still not finished trying other stuff.
