My Big Bug came with front wheel wells at my request. They're perfectly positioned for the RII/Gumball combo on 1/8" risers. This board is an absolute pleasure to ride. I changed/reversed the pivot bolt and am now running all Superball bottoms (blue down, orange up). I love the mild camber and the solid flex. The big round nose is completely walkable and everything about this deck looks and feels just great. And I'm a huge fan of those Gumballs...
My acid-test hill is a silly beginner slope with this stable, smooth flying machine. I see an Insect Cutaway or City Bomber in my future.

Check out CR Longboards @ www.nobhillboards.com You might find the decks more appealing than the Nosewalker and they'll give you a nice deal on a complete if you ask.
I have a 52" Sunday II. It can't be beat.

hey Brandt that looks like a good deal for $155 shipped. I have an old Nosewalker myself. I'm not sure why they put a kicktail on it or the risers? But you can't beat randal 180s The krypto wheels are also good. I don't know about the bearings never heard of them. Someone else might know though. I would also look at the pintail at the bottom of the page. It would also be a great carver with the randal trucks. Whatever you decide have fun!

Right now I've been currently using an old 57" Luke Nose Rider... I love taking it down hills and just making giant carves and pretending I'm on the slopes and it's snowboarding season. I'm looking to invest in a board and want to know if this is a possible worthwhile investment.... Thanks ahead of time

It is sad (albeit understandable) to see all the Bozi bashing going on. I was afraid to ask one of the other DC Outlaws if they knew anything, fearing that something grave had happened to him. Jeff is a really nice guy, and it seems quite out of character to me for him to not be responding to you guys. I've known Jeff for a little over a year, and have bought a fair amount of gear from him, and occasionally stuff I'd get through him would delay, but he always kept me informed, and always came through in the end with the goods.
I don't blame you guys for taking various courses of action to remedy your situations.
Maybe come November, there'll be a lot of "spin control" folks looking for jobs around here, and one will help Bozi. ;)

Well, it's been a long haul with the Bozi hassles, but I've finally got myself a bona fide longboard! My Insect Big Bug arrived yesterday and I'm taking the afternoon off to get acquainted. My living room impression is one of perfection, but I'll give a real riding summary after a bit of time with her. Steve Hopper is one hell of a great guy to do business with. We should all aspire to share his attitude! Anyway, here she is (in case anyone's wondering about a top view of the Insect line):

I looked back through the "Completes" posts to June, and didn't see anything from a "Tom <wildcard>". Just to clarify, I have two MB2s (purchased through SolidSkate -- IIRC), and couldn't be happier with them. Great boards!
OTOH, I've never delt directly with Jeff.

There are these sweet boards that just came out, binus boards. I got one of the first ones from the company and they ride amazing. The wheels are 3dm and bec 11 bearings with tracker trucks. Its an awesome shape with a nice kicktail, about 42". I liked these boards so much that I applied for a job, and became a distributor for this company in my spare time. There working on something new right now that is sweet, but these boards go very quickly. These boards are peices of art! Be sure to check it out.

My, and I think James' and Tom M's issue at this point is getting reimbersed from Bozi, since the boards will never show. Jeff's not returning the money he took from us. $185 isn't the end of the world but I can think of better causes than Jeff's pocket. His site describes his full refund policy if not satisfied. 16 weeks and still no board (and no response) - I'm not satisfied. I filed an internet fraud complaint for obvious reasons.

James, my 6/14-ordered Mad Bomber 2 never showed and I still haven't heard from Jeff since 7/8. I've given up and have contacted my Visa company, etc. I gave Jeff more than enough chances for a simple email or phone update and he completely let me down.

I've found the Landyachtz Urban Assault to be an excellent campus commuter! The board is lower to the ground (not a drop through) so it makes for pushing a breeze! I went six miles once and never gave up. ITs also a superb carver, especially in tight situations (dodging students going to class, etc)

Did you just get your bozi in the mail recently, or have you had it for a long time? I ordered mine on August 11th and am still waiting for it. Im looking for any signs that Jeff is starting to send out some of his boards.

The bozi mad bomber 2 with dh's and 72a flashbacks is smoother than a baby's bottom. It is a heavy board, but the flashbacks in that duro really keep it up to speed. I recomend the dh's becasue they don't stick out that far so you don't have to worry to much about stepping on the wheels. I don't know how handy you are but I is a much better board dropped thru.

I'm looking for a good complete that would be perfect for riding around a relatively flat college campus. I'm not sure whether to go for a flat or concave deck or what length of board I should get or how much flex is appropriate (I weigh 150lbs). I would like to be able to pump and carve with a smooth ride at low to moderate speeds over occasionally rough pavement. So far I've looked at getting a cosmic 2 or one a surf one.

yeah, that cosmic platinum reminds me a lot of my Comet Street Slalom. It's basically what you said Eddy: a 33" GS killer board with Concave, camber and a really sweet flex (due to its bamboo vLam core)
I have it set up with 150s and Grippens (81/84a) and it rips. Super agile and responsive and still holds its own on the big hills. All i need now is some cones to run it through

Marcio I got one last week. The board is very stable at high speeds. Good flex. I set it up with Randall 150s and Abec 11 Grippens. But after riding it a few times, something in the back of my mind tells me that if I cut it down to 32 inches, it would make a killer GS board. Eddy Texas Outlaws.

silversurfer, I have tried the quadcarver before, it's a mix between a 2 wheel scooter and a skateboard.
I can't say I like the ride, carving is just not fun with a handle bar. (note, it does require some adaptation, I only rode it briefly.)
It's a good transportation tool people who can't skate and likes the idea of having a handle bar. It's one of the more practical scooter out there.
