The closest one is in Aumsville, where the Oregon State Games starts on Friday night 7pm for a park slalom event. Before or after the race, you might want to travel a bit further to some of the excellent parks nearby (Newberg, West Linn, Donald, etc). All races are uni-sex, there are no seperate divisions for women/men. Nice to have another Master join us..     Rate post 267738 ! GOLD/SILVER/BRONZE medals for eligible winners. Park Slalom Tight Slalom Hybrid Slalom GS/Longboard Check it out on the contest calendar. EVERYONE can enter. My feeling was slalom would be perfect for me at this time in my life and I am finding unlike downhill I have to ride the skateboard, not just (stand-up) on it. Slalom is where I am lead right now, will need to heal and start alot slower but will be setting cones up every week end now instead of driving hrs to bomb a hill.I have the board now and helmet, the only thing left is the pads.Looking forward to getting the hang of it.     Rate post 266154 !
