I live in Layton Utah, and would like to find some great downhill/carving roads and fellow longboarders to ride with. As of now, I know the season is coming to an end, but I am looking forward to next Spring and Summer! Thanks, Roger "Doc". rogerdoct@msn.com http://aloha.shawnster.net

We are starting a standup garage racing series in San Jose Ca. First race will be Nov2 at 8pm go to events for more info I am trying to get some more interest from buttboarder's in Nor Cal to join us. If you are interested in Garage racing Buttboard style contact me and I will set something up if there is enough interest This Sunday Halloween we will be checking out the garage for next weeks gagage racing series in San Jose. Come and get a few runs in see what the garage is all about, i will be bringing Buttboards for those who want to try.
Jequ There are tons of great roads in the desert in So cal that will get you up to speed 60mph + Ask Rick Kludy he knows and the Late Gary H use to go out there and hit almost 70 or faster stand up. Not to mention if you are ever in the Bay area there is a short strait hill in Berkley, Hiller i believe, you can hit 60+ i saw Darrell F do it. Do you know were Barrett Junction is? The road you take to Barrett will also do it for you, fast cars though

Mount Harrison sits alongside the Snake River and Interstate 84 southeast of Burley, Idaho. A paved road descends from the 9260 ft. summit about 4000 feet in at least 10 or 12 miles. Up top the views are incredible but the road surface is pretty rough. Below the entrance to Pomerelle ski area the road's about twice as smooth. There are steep pitches in the 10-14 percent range, lots of bends, and a couple of switchbacks. There are a couple of campgrounds up high and some radio towers so there's a few cars now and then but no rear traffic. I took a set of Kryptonic Blue Classics down from about 65mm to around 55mm in one run.
Not a great run, but somewhat epic. If you're making the long drive between Utah and Oregon this is right on the way.

Had a fun run on the Williamsburg Bridge the other night heading into Brooklyn. Are there ever any drag races there? It would be a great place for a late night outlaw race. I'll be in Williamsburg plenty in the next month so let's hit it.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of some mellow downhill places in the Peninsula or in the Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area that are good for people new to longboarding. Looking for something in the 15-25 mph range that wide and doesn't have cars or cops/security. It doesn't have to be very long (100-200 feet is enough). I am looking for a place that I can do a few runs during my lunch break or after work. Thanks!
