That's friendship alright!

So you are willing to travel all the way here for ONE 2 hr race to support your fellow team rider. Wow....here at TSR we're a bunch of self centered bastards only looking out for our own pleasures, every man for himself and Team members beware of getting stabbed in the back by Brunson or Ricker on the way to the podium.

I guess we'll log some ditch miles for you, good luck at the qualifier, our JR Team racers will be gunning for your top 10 spot.

Did you like your animation in the Ditch Slap video?

I want to come to D.S. but Ryan is racing I.S. and needs someone to room with so I think I'm going to race the I.S. qualifier instead this year.

On 3/17/2008 price wrote in from United States  (67.164.nnn.nnn)

your totally right steve. me and brunson need to stop being all half assed and sac up. i guess the metal guardrails along all the 180 hairpins, large rocks and tree stumps lining the road and the literally 1000ft. drop-offs into Pajarito Canyon are'nt so bad. mayble we were'nt safe enough before we started.

top secret hill
On 3/14/2008 price wrote in from United States  (65.19.nnn.nnn)

you know its a gnar hill when:

-you burn through a shoe in 2 runs

-brunson gets speedwobbles, crashes in a corner and does'nt want to skate anymore

-joe's scared to skate it

add 40mph tailwinds and airbraking makes you go faster. i could smell my shoes. i had to stop speedboarding the hill after 2 runs because my shoe was toasted from footbraking 4.5 miles of STEEP hairpins. took 2 more runs on my voodoo with blue kryptos, took a good amount of 'thane off the wheels throwing tons of slides to slow down.

LETS DO IT AGAIN. A RACE ON THIS HILL WOULD BE EPIC!

Who will skate for TSR?
On 3/12/2008 GI Joe wrote in from (75.161.nnn.nnn)

Price and Brunson are tele skiing, cross training for a sick season of Speed Boarding, Ricker and I are re-habbing our twisted joints, Malcolm and Zac are shredding the tranny full time and training for Indian School/Ditch Slap and Isa and James West are just over texted teenagers!!!!

Who will race CONES in Texas for TSR? Miller at least you live in NM, you're our best hope!?!? Why don't we yet have a rider in Texas? Who is worthy? Matt, at least let James tell you the VERY long story of how he had the money and the girls but........

Stubbs, are you coming to Ditch Slap?

James West still owes me for Leathers!!!!!!!! 2 years now! FLAKE!
You better at least schwag me this year. I'd like a thermal gravity union suit with the flap.

Also. We have our hill! It's long, it's strong... about a 45mph in a tuck. But dig it. It'll be good for a 100 cone kind of thing. whatever. We'll try and set something that milks the hills personality best.

So, Our Neighbors to the west... Com'on down. Crusty Miller, Fro Joe, Pretty boy Price.. deadbeat james. Is Ricktor still alive? Or is his his scalp stuck in the grill of a dodge van? Brunson? Love to see you all.. Hope you can make it. Matt.

Race Indian School?

What about racing Indian School and finish at the foot bridge? Timer would work, we could avoid crowds at the top, fairly stealth, it could work.

Nomination noted, but if you really want to race Indian School then the right way to shake things up is to attend the qualifer and become the OLDEST ever invitee. Ditch Slap is for all the rest of us "Special Edsters". Besides Tad, I thought that your real goal this year was to NOT get slapped as much as last year! We are creating a "Special" Slap Pass for you buddy!

I vote we have a race at indian school,as part of the ditch slap, for those of us not special enough to be invited to the invitational. I mean cmon, we are going to be riding it anyway, why not race it. just to stir things up a bit.

upper la cueva
On 2/13/2008 k-lee wrote in from United States  (64.106.nnn.nnn)

Upper La Cueva...man that ditch scared the poop out of me. It's got a great drop, but you need 76mm+ wheels and be ready to do 4-wheel drifts across the loose raked finish. Imagine the drop under Tramway in IS with a finish more raked than Carmel, add in some extra dirt and debris, and you've got a rough idea of the fear factor.

I was just getting to that one, I just need to put the finishing touches on my solution to this one first:

and then after that I'll learn how to spell "Espanol-A".

I hate to keep correcting you, Kaylee, because I know you're a super smart guy. But don't you mean Espanola? So you could say "I like to rolla down Espanola", or "I like to rolla (fat one) in Espanola".

Thanks for the second K-Lee, but I think it's Espana? maybe? I thinks Espanol is the language. (Spain ditch is a continuation of Morris ditch, west of Eubank, east of Wyoming, in between Osuna and Spain.) Is it Morris or Layton?
