Great time
On 5/10/2008 Brandon wrote in from United States  (4.240.nnn.nnn)

I also wanted to thank Joe, Ryan, Dave, Rob, Isa, Joel, and everyone else from Timeship and all the competitors for making this a great event this year. Total professionalism and a "class" organization. Hopefully next year the wife will go for me taking an "in-town" vacation and spending the entire time skating with you guys. Thanks again!
And Joe, are you putting on the "all around" this fall? If not, are you doing another event/contest? Ditch Slap was sooooo fun, I don't think I can wait a whole year for the next one.

On 4/6/2008 price wrote in from United States  (67.164.nnn.nnn)

it was good steve. kate's nips was kinda a bust with a large headwind and lots of tumbleweeds blocking the ditch. Indian school was clean and the winds shifted so i was HAULing down it. i know i clocked David Angelus doing at least 30mph, that kid kills it in the ditches with rad style. morris was dirty, but i skated it anyways. i think we are going back there on tuesday to ride some ditches in the morning. ditch work steve. tell them you are "training" and your "sponsers" need to you ride everyday.

Price, how was your Saturday ditch run? I have been scoping it and there is some serious tumbleweeds in all the spots I have looked at. Just wondering how your sesh went.

a good tailwind was kickin today to. footbrake city. add one more shoe and one set of 70mm wheels brought down to the core in 2 runs to the list of things this hill has eaten.

man a race on this hill would be epic....like a more technical but not any slower version of Jake's rash.

Though I do have several safety concerns I would like to address with you, Joe, once we get into town on that Wednesday morning the 16th.

Look to your left at the forum banner.....That's you buddy, shredding Abq for fun. We'll take care of Ryan Smith for you and help him dial in the IS Outlaw and you come to Ditch Slap and help TSR dial in the fun factor for miles!

Did you get to see the Layton Ditch race course? Ask Palmer, it's SICK.

I may still make it to D.S. as my boss informed me of a vacation scheduling conflict the week of I.S. so you might just see me.

So you are willing to travel all the way here for ONE 2 hr race to support your fellow team rider. Wow....here at TSR we're a bunch of self centered bastards only looking out for our own pleasures, every man for himself and Team members beware of getting stabbed in the back by Brunson or Ricker on the way to the podium.

I guess we'll log some ditch miles for you, good luck at the qualifier, our JR Team racers will be gunning for your top 10 spot.

Did you like your animation in the Ditch Slap video?

gnarl
On 3/17/2008 price wrote in from United States  (67.164.nnn.nnn)

your totally right steve. me and brunson need to stop being all half assed and sac up. i guess the metal guardrails along all the 180 hairpins, large rocks and tree stumps lining the road and the literally 1000ft. drop-offs into Pajarito Canyon are'nt so bad. mayble we were'nt safe enough before we started.

top secret hill
On 3/14/2008 price wrote in from United States  (65.19.nnn.nnn)

you know its a gnar hill when:

-you burn through a shoe in 2 runs

-brunson gets speedwobbles, crashes in a corner and does'nt want to skate anymore

-joe's scared to skate it

add 40mph tailwinds and airbraking makes you go faster. i could smell my shoes. i had to stop speedboarding the hill after 2 runs because my shoe was toasted from footbraking 4.5 miles of STEEP hairpins. took 2 more runs on my voodoo with blue kryptos, took a good amount of 'thane off the wheels throwing tons of slides to slow down.

LETS DO IT AGAIN. A RACE ON THIS HILL WOULD BE EPIC!

Who will skate for TSR?
On 3/12/2008 GI Joe wrote in from (75.161.nnn.nnn)

Price and Brunson are tele skiing, cross training for a sick season of Speed Boarding, Ricker and I are re-habbing our twisted joints, Malcolm and Zac are shredding the tranny full time and training for Indian School/Ditch Slap and Isa and James West are just over texted teenagers!!!!

Who will race CONES in Texas for TSR? Miller at least you live in NM, you're our best hope!?!? Why don't we yet have a rider in Texas? Who is worthy? Matt, at least let James tell you the VERY long story of how he had the money and the girls but........

Stubbs, are you coming to Ditch Slap?

James West still owes me for Leathers!!!!!!!! 2 years now! FLAKE!
You better at least schwag me this year. I'd like a thermal gravity union suit with the flap.

Also. We have our hill! It's long, it's strong... about a 45mph in a tuck. But dig it. It'll be good for a 100 cone kind of thing. whatever. We'll try and set something that milks the hills personality best.

So, Our Neighbors to the west... Com'on down. Crusty Miller, Fro Joe, Pretty boy Price.. deadbeat james. Is Ricktor still alive? Or is his his scalp stuck in the grill of a dodge van? Brunson? Love to see you all.. Hope you can make it. Matt.
