check out "contest calender", click on the death race, and they have 2 links right above where everyone signed in: one is for full qualifying times, the other is for finals results.

Fla. ya good football I guess, didn't watch it, saw the score.
If I would had guessed I would of said Cal. only because it seems that there a lot of winners in Cal.
Hope there's more wins by people living in other states than Cal.
in slalom this year.
Now that would be a shocker.
But good luck to all.

I just posted a message on the Slalom forum gloating over the Super Bowl results and it being a FL team over a Cali team and it was removed. And yet the post of BE, which is not slalom related, and the pic is over the maximum size allowable stills remains.

Now I know my post wasn`t skate related but I was kust trying to stir the pot with FL vs CA with no names mentioned, no political agenda, or any real violation of the user agreement. And this post was removed in mere minutes.

What gives?

Are ALL posts in the Slalom forum that aren`t slalom related going to be removed (`cause there`s many that fit in that category and weren`t removed)? Or was it the Fl beat Cali thang that irked the moderator?

Loosen up guys....

From the webmaster..

Members may notice a slowdown as the latest worm virus impacts the data center where our web and email servers are located. Ncdsa.com seems to be working, albeit slowly. Our email server seems to be in a coma. The data center techs at he.net are working furiously at trying to contain the many severs in their facility that are now spewing junk packets at 100Mpbs in an infinite loop, saturating their network and jamming legitimate traffic.

Possible Pro/Am Contest in August 2003

The Idaho State County Fair will be held in the capitol city of Boise at the end of August this year. The County Fair Committee has requested a SkateBoard Show to span the full nine days of the Fair with at least three to four shows daily. After discussing several options with the committee, I realized that this Fair could finally introduce Idaho to the full spectrum of what skateboarding has to offer our community.

Today’s skateboard demonstrations are often narrow in scope and offer only what the promoters hope will reap the greatest rewards in terms of profit. I would like to see a much different presentation by offering a view of all the disciplines of skateboarding.

Vertical ramps and StreetStyle will certainly be a large part of each of the shows during the Fair, but the plan is to showcase much more. This is a great opportunity to introduce Boise, a very enthusiastic ski & snowboard town, to slalom skateboard racing. We are hoping to have several of the top female skaters represented to entice more participation from our local ladies. Plans to include a Pro/Am Slalom & FreeStyle Contest are being discussed. Local skate talent will fill in many of the demos throughout the nine day event. The last day of the Fair will host the Idaho State Amateur Skateboard Championships sanctioned by the Northwest Amateur Skateboard League.

The Fair has generously given us a very large parking lot with smooth asphalt for this event. They have committed to printing 150,000 flyers along with television and radio spots. This is the largest county fair in Idaho. There will be booth space available for sponsors of the event and your company logos will be printed on all the flyers.

I’m asking for your help to make this event successful. We need riders for the demos, prizes to give out during the shows and interested participants for our competitions. All competitions are contingent upon the interest level and commitment within those specific arenas. The Fair has agreed to pay for all ramps and operating costs.

This is a show for all of us who love the sport of skateboarding. I welcome your suggestions and support.

Serving the Sport,
Russ Howell

That website seems to make my browser go a bit mad (I'm NOT using IE nor Windows, so it's a case of my mileage varying, i guess...).
But.
Is this the one where The Leader of the Free World is looking at her Indonesian counterpart (Megawati Sukarnoputri) and seeing a giant lightbulb?

yo Nima...

We're getting our JAM LONGBOARDS into the local shop in Chicago called PUSH. Look for 'em and ask if you don't see them there soon.....we use standard 10mm spacers in our set-ups by the way. Take care.

Look out California, here we come...back to our roots at Patrick Henry High in S.D.

As my name and the web site that I run have been talked about, I will make my comments

IP addresses

For those of you out there who do not know about IP addresses.

An IP address is assigned by you ISP.

Static IP address - this type of IP address does not change

Dynamic IP address - This changes all the time - mainly with dial-up connections- some DSL connection work in this way too - not going to go into more detail at this time.

An ISP is given a block of IP address to give to its users.

If the ISP requires adding more users - they apply to extend their block or get a new block.

It is quite obvious that Jonny and Michael are both with the same ISP. I know that Jonny is on a dial-up. Michael I assume he is on one too.

Get a life on this IP crap - learn about the subject before you make rash statements.

Yes Jonny is one of the four admin's on the UK web site www.badasskate.co.uk - so wot.

Politics and skating never mix, both from the outside and the inside, that is why I got out of it last time.

The UK government has taken us down this road - the public has not voted to move our troops to the Gulf, we just have a Prime Minister who is buddy with the US President. I would say that the majority of people in the UK and Europe do not want war.

Terror is another thing.

Dreaming of the day where here in Chicago, I can go to a local store and see longboads (other than Sector 9), slalom boards of all kinds along with the flipity flop boards, where I could touch and feel various size/duro/kind wheels before purchasing them and where the store personel would know what size spacer a wheel needs... or what a spacer is for that matter.

Meanwhile... I guess I will just mail order my stuff and curse the local shops...
