There is a much too often ignored standard answer to this kind of requests and questions.
Creating a website starts with creating the content. Content is the reason why people come to see the website. If there is no content there is no interest. If there is no interest no one will send you more content.
So I advise you to write about your own experiments and experiences. Write well and write often. That makes people come back to your site.
1. Create content 2. Create website for the content 3. ? 4. Profit
That is the only way to make it succeed.

If I can pull together the fundage, then I'll be there! So far I am at 34% of my goal of 2k in 2mos for my family vacation (I figure I have enough to feed us and see the Pearl Harbor stuff) so once that goal is realized, I'll start on my "G3 or Bust" campaign! HR

"I" is subjective. "Me" is objective.
"Nick and me" are the compound objects of the preposition "for."
Joe is not only correct, his style is impeccable.

Actually Joe is correct. If you take out the 'Nick and' it reads correctly with 'me'.
good It wouldn't be the same for me without you.
bad It wouldn't be the same for I without you.

I stand corrected! Springfield Inn by Marriott is where the wife and kids and I stayed the 1st Gathering.. Summerfield suites is where we stayed last year!! How could I forget..The only T.V channel was some hockey network( I think the Canadians "jammed" reception) and the 2nd bedroom was filled w/ metal and carbon fiber shavings from some sort of suspension truck and oddly shaped deck. And a grown man in the bathtub(fully clothed mind ya')He also made weird sounds in his sleep!!! Breakfast was a good surprise tho.. All you could eat of everything!!(even ramps) But I do recall I departed with a very sore ache in my stomach..FROM ALL THE LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Respectfully your's, David L. Gale

3rd GATHERING SLALOM. I forgot to give my e-mail so here it is bird041167@yahoo.com so leave me a message if you're interested in carpools or sharing room rentals at a motel. The Summerfield Suites sounds good so far, and thanks to everyone who's responded.

...ya Knucklehead!!!
Pretty nice place too. Just around the corner from GBJ's, and not too far from the park. I think we managed to sleep 8 in our room. They also had a full on breakfast every morning. Hey see if your friend can get us a deal on a place for this years event.

Nope, it's Summerfield http://www.wyndham.com/hotels/IADGA/main.wnt
I just called and here's what they have. Two bedroom, one king, the other with two doubles, two bathrooms, a living room with a pull out couch and a full kitchen.
$150 the first night and $75 for the second.
They say it holds 8, but split it 4-5 ways and it's cheaper than splitting a room at the Redroof.
Frankly Dave, all I care about is making my reservation where the maximum number of skaters are staying so I can have beers with everybody and not have to drive afterwards.
Just let me know where everbody wants to stay please. Nick and I are looking forward to seeing each of you.
Joe & Nick
