Doug, I'm aware of the slow page loads (particularly on the Home page) and am looking into why it's occurring and how to remedy it.

Regarding page loading times...
NCDSA is the best forum format I have ever used. Easy to navigate, easy to read, simple. But why does it take so long to load up?
Thanks
Doug

Adam, It still looks like some are abusing the rating option. I see posts that are receiving abuse ratings even though the post is within guidelines. Maybe it!s time to go with the login format. At least with the ratings option. Then the anonymous ratings will be nulified and users will be accountable rather than just being able to find another remote access to vote.
Keep up the good work, Brady

Hello,
I am spreading awareness of a new sport. My company, Illusion All Terrain Concepts, has just released a new product, the Mountain Luge. Imagine the speed and carving of street luge with the versatility of mountainboards. We have plenty of images and video clips with more to come. Check it out at www.illusionatc.com for more info. Let me know what you think.

Adam I applaud the move. Is there anyway of tracking those who continually rate posts as abusive that are not worthy of that rating?
I'm worried about some of sling fests that exist between certain parties on a regular basis. It is not good either if they continue to wrongly rate each others posts just for the @#$% of it.

From the webmaster..
Ncdsa.com's moderating methods have undergone a fundamental shift today, changing from admin-level to community-level. This means that your webmaster and his assistant moderators are no longer doing the bulk of moderating on Ncdsa.com.
You are.
Posts receiving three "Abuse" ratings are now automatically removed from the server. This self-policing has worked well for other sites and will hopefully resolve the majority of spam, prank, and abusive posts on Ncdsa.com.
We realize, however, that sometimes a post is so offensive that it should be brought to a moderator's attention immediately -- before a 2nd and 3rd Abuse rating might be submitted. In these rare cases, the new Flag Moderators box should also be checked.
Members are limited to one vote per post. Those abusing this limit, and those misusing the Flag Moderators feature, risk having their rating privileges suspended or permanently revoked.

Mike:
Go for the Bozi MB II - it is the absolute best board you can get under your feet, especially the new ones!!!!
Call Jeff at Bozi directly and he will assist you in deciding wheel/truck combo that will meet your needs.
Nothing but absolute KUDO's for Jeff, his boards and his service.
Hope it helps

I don't see a longboarding page around here. I think that it would be a good idea to have one. I have activities I would like to involve longboarders in. Is there a go-to site or person in the longboard world? BTW, y'all come to the Rengstorff Park Flatland Jam on sat. Oct 25th at noon. It will be at the "bowl" area and not the funky skatepark. Bring all boards, family and friends.

I am a surfer, I have never skateboarded. Someone told me it would be a good idea to try longboarding. What type of board should I get? I have heard that a Bozi Mad Bomber II is good, or would that not be close to what I want? I want something very similar to surfing. Thanks

Looking for anyone who has stories, photos, and memorabilia about Rocky Mountain Surf skatepark in Sandy, Utah. The park has long be defunct and filled in with dirt. It was once operated as 'Earth Surf' skatepark. Also, if you skated or have pictures or stories of other skateparks, ramps, and skateable areas in Utah (such as: Toad and Smuts, Ogden; Park Roche in Springville; Nordic Valley skatepark, the snake run and half-pipe are all gone; Dave's barbecue pit, Ogden; Fairmont park pool, etc.) please contact me via e-mail.
Thanks ahead of time for any help.

If anyone in the Northeast is interested looks like I'm hosting an event in 3 weeks.
You are all welcome. Stay in touch through the Canadian link under regions.
If we get enough interest I'll ask for for a page on the contest calendar. This event will be fun only. Get it, Got it, Good!
Can someone ship me some timers, LOL.
