I checked out "www.bobstricktips.com". Wow, this guy did an excelent job putting his site together. Check out the tips regarding bearing spacers for excellent information with great photo illustrations.
Bob, you can also spell and put together an easy to read web page! This may not seem like much but it makes it the most professional page I have seen to date other than "NCDSA" of course.
Keep up the good work, Cliff Coleman

The speedboard record has been shattered. Expect to see Calrisian and the germans with the wookie. All this took was the construction of "the hill". At last!!!!!!!!!!

how's it going? Listen, where can I get an issue of Longboarder International, coz I certainly ain't seen it over here in dear old Blighty... And does anyone know if the Bude Downhill (surf/rock festival) is happening... Longcarver, I've been onto everyone: SAS, Tom Wright@Still Stoked, Zuma Jay, British Surf Association... any ideas mate? All information will recieve a reward in the kingdom of Fuzz.
Thanx pop fans Cheers The Fuzz

For those of us in the UK and when it makes it elsewhere check out the premier issue of 'adren-alin' an action sports mag. Like an arty photo mag. It has a longskate article in it. international longboarder it isn't but considering it's the only mention og longboards in any UK mag for ages it has to be worth checking. Written by Ally Barr who all you oldies in the UK might remmeber as being a pro skater in the 70's it has a couple of awesome shots of him riding a 52" Billabong (Gravity Classic) in the pool at the ROM. Considering I had trouble carving that pool with my deplo + exkates the fact he is blue tiling it on that board is AWESOME ! Also has a quiver shot with some classic old boards and some groovy longboard deck shots

URGENT REQUEST! hope everyone is well International Longboarder Magazine is coming together and we NEED scene reports from around the globe!
So, quit playing pokeman, put the kids to bed early or skip watching reruns of the Brady Bunch...
Send me an email of no more than 250 words describing the longboard scene in your area. I don't care where you live, I don't care if you can't spell (we'll edit!) just tell us what is happening:
1) who 2) what 3) where 4) special things, places, people 5) anything else-just make sure it's related to longboarding, luging, downhill, slalom
BONUS-email me before December 15th and receive free longboard stickers! Offer valid for the first 50 stories (or until I run out of postage money!)
thanks...now get busy!
cheers,
the skategeezer

Yesterday I watched the new french extreme sports film "Nuit de la Glisse". Next to awesome footage on skiing, snowboarding, surfing, and a bunch of other extreme stuff there was also a short section on standup downhill and some nice longboard bowl riding. Even if you don`t watch it for the skating it`s worth checking it out. Later Kilimanj.

Just want to thank everybody for coming out to the GRA slaom race at West LA College yesterday! I think that it went off very well, and everybody had fun. Special thanks to the racers who travelled the miles from Nor Cal & San Diego. We were especially honored to have Cliff Coleman(legend of the sport & inventor of downhill sliding)racing- and winning the g/s! Thanks also to Rene Bruce of Powerpaw wheels for donating prizes & to our corporate sponsor Eclipse fruit drink. Keep in touch for stats & info on the next race!

two quick points- The PDF files for Int. Longboarder are complete and should be arriving at the site in the next 2 days or so...we apologize for the delay. The files will be broken into 3 parts for easier access. A
As for the print version, the magazines have arrived at the various distributors and are beginning to arrive in shops. Where you find Sector, Dregs or Gravity is where you should find the mag. Remember it's free, so have shop owners get it directly from these distributors/manufacturers. To our good friends outside of North America, Sector 9 is starting to ship to Europe, Asia and South America.
For the record, our next issue will be at 35,000 and by our 4th issue we plan to be at 50,000. By the end of 2001, we want to hit 100,000 copies.
cheers and thanks
michael
