Old school / longboarder seeks other surf-style freaks to form group of riders for sessions. Weekday evenings, Sunday mornings, etc. I know choice hills in east Dallas. Prefer 21+ years of age. E-mail or call Mark at (214)328-2082.

awesome! found this road/driveway a few years ago on a mountain bike ride, and some of the dropaways were good for 6 foot high jumps at speed. Well the top several hundred yards are so screamin for video, these narrow winding properly banked corner that dropaway and turn ,just reachdown for the inside edge of the road and start sliding come out rolling though a couple mild carvers right into another handdown drifter, amazing hill. There is a gate at the botttom so its for campers only, a car was coming down as I was walking up ,I ditched my board and gloves an put on my best poker face and the lady just drove by,friendly eye contact is the key.

I am in Central Cal for the summer. Does anyone know of anywhere that would be good for a newbie, or are there any Central Cal riders who wouldnt mind skating in the Fresno area. I also need suggestions for the Palo Alto/Mountain View area.

Thanks. I have seen that guy a few times but never asked. He actually tried my board on the cones once when I had a smaller one. It was kinda funny.

hey Matt, Look for slalom Jon ding the slalom course on Sundays. He is not hard to find seeing that he is flying through the cones very fast on his Turner. He can tell you where all the good spots are that you need to know.

Thanks is it really any good? Do you know of any good hills in the surrounding burbs? For an easy cruise try Memorial Drive in Cambridge on Sundays, but you probably already know that. But for anyone else in the area. They close it on Sundays and it is full of hot rollerblading chicks. It is closed from Western ave down towards Harvard. Charlie check out my earlier posts for spots to bomb in Boston. Also try the Brookline side of Cleveland Circle up in the rich neighborhoods

If you are going to summersnoboarding in Norge, Stryn. Try the street from the top to the camping Grov. It is 18 km long and include 12 deep turns. Remember speed limits! Also try some hills in Dombås (15 km) and Lom-vegen. Sognedal is also good area. Watch Out the sheeps! .

scary as f especially since I tried to canyon bomb it.Very bouncy but smooth asphalt with some inconsistancies ,like surface black tar spots and a few rough spots my brother was following me and said I was doing my slides at near 40 and the rides were the scariest looking he'd ever seen(Herb,If their was a video and you saw it ,you wouldn't do that) Three side and I roll off the bottom with only one bail ,near the end of a slide with no damage. Staghill is the very very first exit as 287 blends into rt.17 I found it mountain biking and never knew how to drive to this bizzare bit of hillbilly neighborhood until about 6 monthes ago.

Hells ya- Vista is a cool park. Carlsbad is the same kinda park but different. The one in vista is a flat cement park with transitions around the whole thing and some stuff in the middle. Any parks in Fallbrook? Go to Vista in the morning on a weekday for the best sk8. Its a good park for longboarding.

Raintree in Oceanside California , a must ride

This is probobly the best hill that I've ridden ,without having to go to the Mountains . Aproximatly 1 mile long ,with some massive features such as several 22% grade dips , a steep as shit u-turn for all those who want to work on there Hot Heel's techniques . My favorite features are the continous yellow line from top bottom and the gaurd rails that line parts of it . Good for bombing , carving and especialy to luge . Pop it in a mass or buy yourself ,it's all good . When coming from the beach , go inland on mission until you get to Fussat , make a right and coninue accross the brigde ,then right on Raintree From there it's up and up and up and youre at the top of the hill . Be carefull and plan your line , especially through the u-turn because you hit that at 40 . My best advice for you is wear leathers and pad's because I'm tired of going to the hospital and having the gravel scrubed out of my back .

I was just wondering if anyone has been to the Vista, Ca skatepark. I know that it is made for mostly shortboards but I was wondering if anyone has tried a longboard on it. I went down there once and it was packed so I didn't have a chance to try my board in it. Someone that lives near Vista and has seen someone ride a longboard or has ridden a longboard in the skatepark write back.

The riding in this area is completely dank. It has rides which have gradual Downhills for miles and it's also got your steep curvys which are just $%^&*@ nuts. Also if you really have BALLS you could try and conquer on of out mountain gaps AP GAP Lincoln Gap. Here are some numbers of peole to contact for riding 802-496-3437 802-496-5617 802-496-4906 or just his warren village near suguarbush VT and look around for some riders LIke unfamous BGA Strobe Dilldo Hagar and the Man GUeido Jungle BOY *.*

SMOOTH, FUN TURNS, IT FLATTENS OUT AT THE END FOR BOUT 1\4 MILE OR SO SO YOU CAN JUST CARVE THAT THE WHOLE STRETCH, IF YOU LIVE IN UTAH RIDE THIS HILL! WHATS UP RUSSELL RIDE WITH PRIDE(S9)

Spent the weekend camping at refugio - about 20 min north of Santa Barbara. There is a 3 mile long paved bike path that links it to El Capitan. In those 3 miles, ther are 3 OK hill. Two are 20mph or so and one is 30 mph or so (depending on if you carve or bomb). There is about a mile of flat, a mile of uphill and a mile of downhill so you'll get a good workout if you go the 6 miles. NOTE: on the biggest hill (30 mph), there is a chicane/obstacle that limits your run to about 3 feet in width. Be prepared, you don't want to rack yourself at 25mph on this thing. Also, there are rabbits, lizards, squirrels and the beautiful Pacific ocean to keep you company.
